The Poillé racecourse 🐎, a little pastoral corner of paradise that hides its game well when it comes to elevation gain 📈. Right in the middle of spring 🌸 you’ll get the return of mild weather ☀️ in the Centre-Val de Loire region. No ice-cube mode 🧊 for you this time!

Well, it seems important to clarify something 🔎. Why “ the Billy Goat ”? 🐐 Well, because that bearded animal looking at you with an air of challenge 😎 is exactly the attitude you’ll need on the starting line 🏁. Just to throw off the competition 😉! Stubborn as a mule, able to climb any hill without flinching, and above all an expert at keeping balance on rugged terrain 🏞️. But the real reason—well, the one that truly matters? This event takes place right in the heart of the Cheese and Gastronomy Festival! 🤤 Translation: you’ll be able to devour artisan goat cheese right after sweating out all the water in your body 💦. Life is well made, isn’t it? 🙃

Let’s keep it short and sweet! You’ll have a lineup of 4 races to choose from. The cautious will take the "Simple Bouc" of 9.5 km, to test the waters without ending up completely wiped either 🫣. The more daring will go for the "Grande Bouc" stretching over 20 km, perfect for proving to your ego that yes, you’ve still got what it takes under the hood 💪. And because we never forget the future champions, "La Biquette" (1 km, ages 10–11) and "La Chevrette" (600 m, ages 7–9) will let young shoots 🌱 taste their first adrenaline rush! 🏆 As for the course, get ready to slalom around the racecourse on a cocktail 🍸 of grassy paths 🌿, forest trails 🌲 and a few climbs that will brutally remind you that goats have calves of hardened steel 🦵. Nothing insurmountable, but challenging enough that you’ll keep a stinging memory of your performance! 😜

All of it sprinkled with a festive and generous atmosphere 🎉, with a little solidarity bonus: €1 per bib goes straight into the coffers of the "Dans ma bulle" association.
