Looking for a race bib, are we… 👀
We've got you spotted, admit it 🤫. You swore “this time, it's my last”, then you found yourself on Finishers “just to take a look” 🤨. And just like that, you're sucked into the vortex of … oh look, a trail not far from home👀. Well, now that you're here, we might as well tell you the truth: your next adventure in June is The Cernaysiennes Strides 🏃, near Paris.
Farewell to honking, stress, and the Paris Metro 🚇. Cernay-la-Ville is the detox cure your city soul desperately needs 🌳. Just 1 hour from Paris, in the Yvelines, you're here for the Cernaysiennes Strides 🙌. On the agenda: 10 or 20 km of greenery and freshness for the benefit of your nervous system 🧠. The start takes place in the charming village of Cernay-la-Ville, and you venture into what the Île-de-France offers at its finest: the Abbey Pond, the Wood of the Five Hundred Acres, the Boisseau Wood, and the Ru de Vaux that winds alongside you almost all along your route 🐍. One thing's for sure: between the June light and the forest trails, you're in for a refreshing trail experience (more than you will breathe…💨). And because the organizers are thoughtful (and they know you 😍), there's a hearty final refreshment very robust 💪. After all, isn't that what you deserve? 🏆
Once you've got the medal around your neck, don't hit the road too quickly: there's so much here to prolong your pleasure 🤤. Nearby, you have Versailles, its enormous palace 🏰, its gardens, and basins ⛲️. A few kilometers away, Rambouillet welcomes you with its vast forest, perfect for a recovery walk 🧘. And if you want a medieval break worthy of a movie (we're thinking of the visitors 🛡️), head to Chevreuse and its Château de la Madeleine, perched high ⬆️. And most importantly, how could you leave without exploring the Regional Natural Park of the Haute Vallée de Chevreuse? This jewel of nature is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year! 🎉 It's a not-so-useful piece of information we just felt like sharing with you 😂.
So here you are, thinking “just to look,” and now you're tempted…🤷♀️
