The Obstacle Race 2026

"But yes, come on, we'll go all Doubs 😜!"

This is exactly what you will have to whisper in your friend's ear to motivate them to take on the Obstacle 💥. This totally crazy race is coming in March at Étalans 🌲, in the heart of Doubs, in Burgundy-Franche-Comté 🐮. We're not talking about simple strides on asphalt 🛣️, we’re talking about mud 🟤 and a certain loss of dignity 😂. If you want to push yourself 💪, get dirty 🐷, and incidentally ridicule yourself on a few obstacles 🤪, this race is your destiny ☄️. Since last year, they have improved everything! Catering, organization, atmosphere, obstacles... everything has been revamped for even more fun 😎.

Two courses await you for this second edition which promises to be memorable 🌟. For adults, it's 7 km of pure joy interrupted by 18 obstacles that will stand in your way 🚧. We know you won’t back down in front of the suspended nets 🐒, the slip-and-slide 🏄‍♂️ or the straw bales to climb ⚔️. As you understood, it's a real boot camp course reserved for you 🔥. Hey hey hey, you’re not allowed to say it's too hard ❌, because the organizers test the course for you the day before, so no excuses! ✊ For the younger ones, two races are offered, one of 1 km for children and one of 2 km for teenagers. Dotted with 6 obstacles and accessible to their ages (and no, parents, you won't get rid of your little ones so easily 🙃). Here, there’s no pressure 🕒: the stopwatch stays at home, and the only rule is to have tons of fun 🎉. The cherry on top 🍒, a costume contest is organized 🎭. So, motivate your group of friends 👯‍♀️, your colleagues 👔, your family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦, and get ready to laugh like never before 🤣. Moreover, the Obstacle was born from a great initiative 🎁, to re-energize a territory where no obstacle race had been organized since 2020. And for their first edition, they gathered over 700 participants, all crazier than the last 😹, and it was a magnificent day. So it’s your chance to support local projects and sports events that are accessible to everyone 🙌.

After the effort, comfort! 💆‍♂️ The region is full of wonders to explore. The Syratu waterfall 🌊 will offer you a breathtaking natural spectacle, while the Poudrey Abyss will plunge you into a wonderful underground world 🔦. You can stroll through the charming village of Lods 🏘️, or visit Besançon 🏰, the watchmaking capital ⌚️. In terms of gastronomy, hold on 🧀, because Doubs is the land of gourmets, between Comté cheese 🧀, Montbéliard sausage 🌭, and some rich local specialties 🍲. Doubs gastronomy is like an obstacle course: take it slow, or you might explode 💥” (with pleasure, obviously 😌).
