"Arise, children of theaaa patriooot, the race day has arriiiived!" 🇫🇷
If you've always wanted to commit, but prefer sneakers over military fatigues 💥, join the St Nicolas Run for the Wounded Armed Forces at the beginning of December and come run for a good cause. In the Moselle, in the lovely city of Metz, the General Staff of the Defense and Security East Area 🛡️ invites you to run for the benefit of army wounded ❤️🩹. Registration proceeds will be donated to the Terre-Fraternité-Ado association, which acts for the benefit of our wounded and their families 🫶. Several tailored courses have been designed so you can run and sweat in a solidary and relaxed atmosphere 😎.
At the St Nicolas Run, you are part of a brigade 🤔. You're no longer just a runner 🎖️, here everyone is on equal footing. Throughout your challenge, you must keep your eyes on the road and your feet on the ground 👟. For the fastest (or those in a hurry to reach the hot chocolate stand ☕️), a 5 km very fast will have you zigzagging between suburb and city center 🏙️. If, however, you're looking for a slightly tougher course, then position yourself on the 10 km. You can finally beat that PR that's been blocking you for years 🥳 and brag about it to your colleagues the following Monday 📆.
As a famous saying goes: "effort before comfort". If you complete your mission 🪖, you'll find all your competitors at the finish, who will become your comrades for future races 💪. Hot chocolate, sweets 🍫, and warm-hearted volunteers at the finish, you'll have everything at your disposal to recover after the challenge 🥵. To end on a high note, a surprise is even planned at the finish, in the village located at the Military Governor's Palace 🎁. Once the event is over, you can also enjoy the historic monuments of the city 🏛️, wander between the Place Saint-Louis, the Porte des Allemands, and the Islands District, or simply hunt for the best local spots. The very famous Quiche Lorraine, the Mirabelle Tart 🥧, or the Commercy Madeleine: local specialties are not lacking in the region 🤤.
So put on your shoes and come join the St Nicolas Run for the Wounded Armed Forces in the capital of Lorraine! 🏃♀️

The ideal distance to crush your PR and challenge your friends 👀. No cheating ❌ or trickery allowed. The organizers will be uncompromising, and only performance will serve as the judgment ⚖️.
5 km is nothing much (we say that to reassure you 🙄). In the blink of an eye, you'll find yourself at the finish line and will want to pick up your race bib for the following year 🎽.
A course designed for those who are not in a rush (or for those who couldn't resist the Saturday night dance floor 🕺) but still want to contribute their bit to the cause 🧱. Regardless of the timing, the most important thing is to reach the finish line 🏁.
Double or nothing? The youngest ones can test themselves on a circuit of 500 m or 1 km, depending on their age group 🏁. The perfect distance to spark a passion for racing and feel the adrenaline of their first competitions 🏆.
