The sun and blue skies 🌞 will be the order of the day throughout your trip. 8 days, Polynesia and its fine sandy beaches 🏖️, the turquoise blue of the Pacific Ocean, you and your road bike 🚴‍♀️. That's what awaits you during the Tour of Samoa in the month of August! 🗓️ For your vacation, you'll embark on a stage race that will let you discover all the charm of the island and the beauty of the region of Tuamasaga 📍. Between lush nature 🌿 and urban atmosphere, the capital of Apia, the starting point of your journey, will fulfill your need for postcard landscapes with destinations like the islands of Samoa, Upolu, and Savai'i! 🤩

To tackle these 350 km on a bike, you will go through several stages 🤓. The first starts from Apia and takes you to Sinalei via the Mafa Pass 🏞️. The second stage, on the same day, will bring you back to Apia, passing this time through Aleisa. The next day, you will go from Apia to Manase by taking the ferry 🛥️ from Mulifanua Wharf to Salelologa. Once in Manase, a dream overnight awaits you in the Tanu Beach fales! ⛺ Small traditional Samoan cabins, on stilts, set in the sand, with not much comfort, but offering an exceptional setting! ⭐ After this restful night, you'll head towards Asau 🚵‍♂️. After another night with a seaview, you'll hit the road to Amoa Resort, where you'll spend two exceptional nights next to the lagoon! 😎 Indeed, we're not far from a real vacation! 😝 The penultimate day of your adventure will be dedicated to rest... or biking! 😅 You'll have to choose between basking on a dream beach or a 180 km challenge around the island of Savai'i. And no sleeping in for cyclists that day: the departure is at 5 a.m.! 💤 At least you'll enjoy the coolness of the early morning, the sunrise 🌅 and the local fauna! 🐒 The final day will be the return to the capital, from Amoa Resort to Apia! Between hotel stays 🛏️ and included meals 🍽️, you won't have much to worry about except pedaling.

And if after your challenge you feel you don't know enough about this archipelago, you can always extend your stay! 😉 The culture in Samoa is very strong and takes the form of Fa’a Samoa, and everyone strictly respects this custom 😌. These traditions dictate their daily life, revolving around the matai (chief), the aiga (extended family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦), and the church ⛪. You will be received like royalty by the Samoans, as hospitality is one of their greatest qualities! ☝️ Meals are also considered a great moment of sharing 🥭, so don't hesitate to visit the market to chat and eat with the locals 🤗.
