The event in a few words

No need for a magnifying glass 🔍 to see the wonders packed into the flagship event of Saint-Loup des Bois ✨. The nature break offered by the Trans'Lupéenne will let you forget all the negative vibes of the moment, so you can focus fully on the effort and the friendly atmosphere ✌️.

It’s in the heart of Nièvre in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté that your next challenge takes root 🌳. The race was born from the desire of the organizers, volunteers, residents and local producers to showcase their beautiful town 💫. Authenticity, state forests, rolling fields, rocky trails, and even good old Jacques' farm—these are the landscapes you’re about to take in over 10 to 20 km (depending on the distance you choose 🤪). Forget the noise of nonstop horns and the pressure of the stopwatch—here we’re here to run together and discover the area 🌾.

The terrain, just like the routes, is designed to your advantage: little elevation gain, peace and quiet, and a gentle breeze that will make your hair sway 🌬️. For the more daring, 13 km and 21 km trail races are an option. The half marathon in trail version is quite a challenge, but with a little motivation, you can get through anything 😌. If you’re more on team "I like covering distance, but above all enjoying myself", you can also line up for 8 km, 13 km or 21 km routes in Nordic walking format. Of course we call it Nordic walking, but if you want to stroll at your own pace, no one will come and scold you—promise! And if you decide to come discover the region with your family, it’s perfect: there are kids' & juniors' routes so the youngest can get their share of effort and adventure too 🤠. After a stay in Saint-Loup, everyone will come back “Trans’formed”—you can be sure of it! 😁

Once the effort is far behind you, swing by Nevers to enjoy the city center and see the Palais Ducal. You’ll see how the great lords of the time lived 🤴. To keep your weekend in the green going, you can then head to Parc Roger Salengro or go breathe by the Loire for a walk that gently extends the day 🌅. Who knows, maybe you’ll even take advantage of it for a little nap and fall asleep like a dormouse 😬.

So, in October, are you ready to throw yourself into the wolf's jaws? 🐺
