The event in a few words

Ready for a running adventure that will be etched in your memory forever? Vltava Run is a cult, hugely popular relay race that follows the Czech Republic’s longest river – the Vltava. Teams (usually up to 12 people) take on a spectacular route of around 360 kilometers, divided into 36 unique stages. You run non-stop – day and night, cheering each other on from car windows and battling mounting fatigue together. The course starts in the picturesque Šumava region (Šumava), and the big, spectacular finale takes place right in Prague!

When, after dozens of hours of struggle, joyful madness, and no sleep, your whole team finally storms into the longed-for finish line in Prague, it’s time for some well-deserved celebrating. The capital of our neighbors is the perfect place to spend the rest of the weekend with your running crew, family, or your significant other 😉:

A sunset walk across the Charles Bridge: After forest and asphalt backroads, it’s time for a classic – crossing one of the most beautiful bridges in the world, surrounded by historic sculptures, guarantees an incredible atmosphere 🌉.

A visit to the Castle on Hradčany: The world’s largest castle complex by area will wow you with its monumental architecture and offer a breathtaking panorama of the “City of a Hundred Spires” 🏰.

Relax in the Letná gardens: If your legs feel like taking it easy, this huge hilltop park is the perfect spot for a family picnic with a view of Prague’s bridges 🌳.

Traditional Czech food and pivo: After burning a massive number of calories on the course, you need to properly recharge – order the classic vepřo-knedlo-zelo (roast pork with dumplings and cabbage) or the legendary fried cheese, and wash it all down with excellent, craft Czech beer 🍺.

Gather a crew of unbreakable runners, feel the amazing vibe of a Czech adventure, and line up at the start of the legendary Vltava Run!
