The event in a few words

Do you feel like getting off the beaten track? Like challenging yourself with a completely different format, and on top of that supporting a charity? 🤩 The Trail du Muscle for the Téléthon in Yutz, the 3637—does that ring a bell? 🤔

Alright, we’ll explain the concept of this event right away! But first, we need to know: do you have a busy schedule in November? If so, no worries 🤪. The Trail du Muscle for the Téléthon in Yutz is a day of celebration, but along the quayside! 💦 By running or walking, the event gives its participants plenty of freedom. 15, 10 or 5 km—you choose! So rally your family and friends, because you’re going to support a good cause 🤗. The profits will be donated to the AFM Téléthon 🤝.

A quick reminder: This organization was created in 1987 at the initiative of Bernard Barataud and Pierre Birambeau, two fathers of boys affected by Duchenne muscular dystrophy. Since then, the goal has been to raise as much money as possible. It is used in particular to fund medical research, support patients, and develop innovative therapies 🔬. It highlights the importance of solidarity among everyone, and the importance of helping people who suffer from rare diseases 💊. During the first edition of the Téléthon in Yutz in 2023, €10,000 was raised to help patients; from research to recovery, the funds support every stage of care! 📚 But that’s not all, because the Trail du Muscle for the Téléthon in Yutz is also led by the Jeune Chambre Économique de Metz, whose mission is to act locally and create lasting impact ☝️. This year, we’re counting on running enthusiasts to put their passion at the service of the cause! 💪

As for the 2.5 km course, it’s a getaway in the heart of nature! Proof that you don’t need to leave the city to get a big breath of fresh air. You’ll run (or walk) along the quays of Yutz 🌳, starting from the kayak club 🛶. This loop was also designed to make access easier for people with disabilities. Whether you have a disability or not, use a wheelchair or not, we encourage you to take on the challenge! ⚡ And of course, if you have a disability, you can absolutely take part in any of the routes! 👏

And the day doesn’t end once you cross the finish line! 😇 Plenty of activities and challenges will be offered throughout the event 🤗.

So we’re expecting lots of participants at the Trail du Muscle for the Téléthon in Yutz to push research forward, enable recoveries, and support people affected by illnesses! ❤️
