Why has it become so difficult to secure a UTMB bib?
Securing a UTMB bib has become so difficult because demand is exploding while supply remains frozen: more than 29,000 applications for a number of spots unchanged since 2006. The result is a weighted lottery based on Running Stones, where it took an average of 11 to be selected in 2026.
