Clemquicourt, from controller to first bib 🕹️

Without a club license, Clément’s teenage years in Lille revolve around Call of Duty. After a BBA at EDHEC, an internship sends him to Mauritius, where he discovers trail running by chance 🌴. He runs on feel, with no plan or coach, with a single rule: keep the fun.

In July 2023, he launches the Clemquicourt account and invents his kill cams, video game-style slow-mos triggered every time he passes another runner. His videos take off, and his legs improve fast enough to aim for Réunion Island, home of the Diagonale des Fous.

Ultra Terrestre: 224 km to level up 🌋

The breakthrough comes in May 2025 at the Ultra Terrestre, the XXL format of the Trail des Géants, which crosses Réunion Island from south to north over 224 km and 14,000 m of elevation gain. With no reference points for this format, Clément finishes 4th overall in 48h57'22", enough to silence the skeptics ⏱️. His documentary ULTRA NORMAL retraces this journey, and he goes on to win the Hug The Backyard Ultra Mauritius with 174 km in 26h.

In late August 2025, he discovers the UTMB, the final of the UTMB World Series: 174 km and 9,900 m of elevation gain around Mont Blanc, between France, Italy and Switzerland. He completes his first participation in 29h19'34", 144th out of 1,665 finishers, filming skits between two aid stations. Bottom line: 100,000 more followers and lines for his T-shirts in the streets of Chamonix.

He then takes 6th place at the Hajar Ultra in Oman (118 km, 5,820 m of elevation gain) in 18h04'10". In April 2026, he deletes all his Instagram posts. In June 2026, he finishes 24th at L’Ultra Marin, 175 km around the Gulf of Morbihan, in 18h55'55". In the fall, accumulated fatigue pushes him to withdraw from the Moab 240, in Utah 🛑. Next level announced: a home backyard.
