Here we’re offering you a dream trip to one of the most popular islands 🏝️ in Spain: Ibiza! 🇪🇸 No worries about the temperatures, which can seem a bit excessive during certain times of year on this island—the race we’re about to introduce takes place in October 🌡️, a perfect season so you won’t get roasted under the Spanish sun. Without further ado, let us introduce Ibiza Trail Festival ! The trail takes place in Sant Antoni de Portmany, and crosses several stunning areas of the island! 😍
This event offers 3 distances: a Marathon, which isn’t really one since it’s a 48 km trail! 💪 A Half Marathon, which often goes hand in hand and offers 28 km 👌. And for those who prefer to tackle shorter distances—either to go faster or to have less soreness—there’s the "Starter", an incredible 11 km trail! 🤝 Now that you know a bit more about what awaits you, let us tell you about the setting: On the marathon, you’ll get to pass through the small village of Santa Agnès de Corona and its white-painted houses 🤩. On the half, it’ll be some beautiful climbs around Sant Antoni and unbeatable views over the coastline. Ibiza Trail Festival means demanding races in stunning scenery, with kind people and top-notch organization! 😎
Ibiza Trail Festival, as its name suggests, is a trail race but also a festival! 🎆 Which means that during the event weekend, the trail will be accompanied by a series of events, deals, and activities to fully enjoy sport, music, and gastronomy 🤗.
For your stay to go even better than expected, you need to take a little time to visit the island! 📸 You can start at the beginning by strolling through the old town of Ibiza, a UNESCO World Heritage site 😍. Continue your adventure by visiting the spectacular Can Marçà Cave, a former smugglers’ hideout turned tourist attraction 🌄. Enjoy pristine beaches like Cala Comte, perfect for relaxing and savoring an unforgettable sunset 🌅—and if you have time, you might even be able to go for a swim!
So, are you grabbing your flip-flops and running shoes and flying off to Ibiza? 🔥
On the 48 km marathon, the start will be in Sant Antoni de Portmany, and it will follow the same route as the 28 km for 14 km. You will then take a trail toward Santa Agnès de Corona to the region of Es Broll. From there, the course heads back toward El Pla, and around km 34, it joins the return path to Sant Antoni, which is shared with the 28 km course all the way to the finish line ⛵.
As with the other races, the start of the 28 km takes place on the promenade; you will have to tackle the first positive elevation gain at Sa Talaia de Sant Antoni, then you will head toward the heart of the municipality. At km 10.5, you will have reached nearly 600 meters of positive elevation gain. The route continues on moderately technical trails, with a climb up to km 15, where the second aid station is located. The course turns around toward the finish line by following the coastline, offering you a view of the shoreline of Sant Antoni de Portmany 🌊.
The 11 km "Starter" route takes place near the city center, with a good amount of elevation gain in the first kilometers, followed by a second half with breathtaking views of the coastline of Sant Antoni de Portmany 🌀.
Bib pickup will take place on Friday, October 25, 2026, between 4 pm and 8 pm, at the Blau Park Hotel in Sant Antoni de Portmany (Calle Velázquez 9) and on Saturday, October 26, 2026, from 7 am to 9 pm, in the start area.
