The playground blends mountains, nature and forest. You alternate between open sections with beautiful views and woodland paths that smell of fresh resin. Get ready to Ried-iscover the joy of running outdoors 🌲.

Everyone finds their own format: the 36er and the 36er+ if you want to take on a real challenge, the 36er Walk if you prefer to take your time and enjoy the scenery, and the 36er Junior for the youngest participants, who also get their own course. Want to share the effort? The 36er Buddies is run as a relay, with a partner in crime to share the good moments (and the low points). You can celebrate the finish as a pair or as a team 🤝.

Once your medal is around your neck, don't leave right away: the region is worth a detour. In nearby Brig, you can visit the Stockalper Castle, an imposing Baroque palace with three towers, then stroll through the old town 🏰. To relax your legs, head to the Brigerbad thermal baths. Nothing beats a hot bath after the effort ♨️.

If you still have some breath left, head up the road to the Simplon Pass, which offers superb Alpine panoramas. You can also go see the Saltina Gorge, near Brig, for a different kind of outing. You'll leave with tired legs, a head full of memories and the desire to come back.
