The event in a few words

No blah blah here, it needs to be dynamic! 💪 The AlbaTrail in Alban, in the Tarn, is a true celebration of trail running, and for the 10th edition, the organizers challenge you for a good cause! Besides setting a nice goal early in February for the season's start, you're doing a good deed: €2 per registration are donated to the "Imagine for Margo" association, which funds research and improves the daily lives of children with cancer 🫶. During the AlbaTrail, you'll engage in a double battle ⚔️: one for the children and another against the muddy trails and the stubborn branches of the forest 🌳.

But how many kilometers will you be ready to fight? 😎 7 different events are available starting from the rugby stadium in Alban 🏉: a relaxed walk or Nordic of 8.5 km or 11 km for Sunday athletes who wish to stay in non-timed mode ⏱️, the "AlbaTrailhounet" of 8 km and 250 mD+ (a cute little trail) and the "AlbaTrailhou" of 14 km and 500 mD+ (a bit less cute 😬). After that, the events aren't cute at all, but then again, everyone has their own taste! 😅 The "AlbaTrail," the one, the only, is a long trail of 26 km and 1,300 mD+, which will either get trail runners back on their feet or temporarily take away their usage 🦵. For the sharpest calves: there is something even more intense! 🤪 The big boss of the event is called "AlbaTor" (yes, yes, like the space pirate 🚀): 61 km for 2,900 mD+! This trail has the potential to fascinate you as much as the animated superhero, but you'll be the protagonist of the race... 🤓 Of which you will successfully complete (oh yes, like Albator, you always complete your missions) 👊. Whatever the distance you choose, you'll become a hero of running! 🦸‍♀️ Because yes, you too will have your first fans: the children! After cheering you on all day, future budding trail runners will also have their moment of glory 🏆.

Hey hey hey, stay here, rest isn't right now ‼️. Since 10 years deserves a celebration, let's celebrate it and it'll be better with you! We know that after a race, a good meal is all we ask for 🍲. Request heard, and on the menu for the evening, a banquet is prepared by chef Yoan Camps 🧑‍🍳. For your personal info, he is certified "master restaurateur" and trail runner, not bad at all 🤩. In addition, he has prepared a menu that's not to be missed: garbure cooked on-site, Roquefort cheese, Alps Durance apples and surprise individual dessert 🎁! And stay a bit longer, because the night is just starting. They don't do things halfway, they'll also make you dance all night 💃. A musical evening is organized and will be hosted by "les Valpares"! Everything is set to have a great time 🎉.

After so much effort, enjoy the Occitanie region! 😉 You won't risk getting bored in the Valley of Tar, in the Monts de l'Albigeoi and Monts d'Alban, Greschny's frescoes, the priory of Ambialet, the churches, or the Peninsula of Ambialet, you can stretch your legs properly and learn more about the area 🤗. To visit another city, just take a short drive to discover the beautiful Albi! 📍 If the walk worked up your appetite, feel free to visit the local market 🥬. You can taste regional specialties like bougnette, fritons, cheese washed with artisan chestnut beer, or sweet Gaillac wine... and many other delights! 😋

Start the trail season gently with the AlbaTrail 😌.

4 reasons to join this race

Running for a good cause 💪
By participating in one of the AlbaTrail events, you're doing a good deed! For each bib purchased, €2 are directly donated to the association "Imagine for Margo - Children Without Cancer." This organization raises funds to improve research and support for children affected by cancer. Thus, you increase the fund and enable the association to help children! 🧸
An event for the whole family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦
From long trail to short trail, including walking and children's race, it's hard not to find something you enjoy at AlbaTrail 🤙. This event is designed for the whole family, so feel free to bring your +1, your children, your parents, and even your grandparents! No need to be a trail expert to participate, you just need a pair of sneakers and a good dose of motivation! 💪
Secret trails 🤫
The trails will remain secret until the day before the race! You won't be able to do a reconnaissance to be ready for the big day, but you'll at least have the nice surprise of discovering paths you've never walked before 🤪. You'll need to watch for turns and the elevation profile to avoid getting lost or exhausting yourself on a steep downhill followed by a tough ascent 😅.
Blowing out the 10th candle of AlbaTrail 🎂
AlbaTrail has several editions behind it and uses its experience to offer each year a more beautiful event for its runners! For its 10th edition, expect something big 👊. With the new children's races, the trail celebration will be even more grand! 🤩
