Biquet and the Christmas 10km 2027

Head to Leucate for a Christmas with your feet in the sand 🎄.

In mid-December, the Mediterranean keeps its turquoise glow and the seafront of Leucate-Plage treats itself to a festive break. Le Biquet, the beach's cult hangout, invites you to put on your best Christmas hat for a 10km that mixes road and trail, with the big blue sea in sight both at the start and on the way back.

The course climbs gently toward the heights of Leucate, at the gates of the Natura 2000 protected plateau, a land of vineyards and cliffs sheltered from the Tramontane wind. About 120 m of total elevation gain: enough to have fun without wrecking your legs, whether you're aiming for a time or just the group photo in red and white outfits. Trail lovers will recognize the playground of the Biquet Trail, its big spring brother, and will find more ideas for outdoor outings on MyTrails.

And once you've crossed the line? That's where the Christmas race really makes sense: oysters and champagne await you, followed by a meal at the restaurant (reservation required) and an afterrun with a DJ all afternoon. A briny and sparkling way to kick off the holidays at one of the most beautiful seaside races in the Aude. The 600 bibs are released in price waves, so don't wait too long! 🦪
