ChiaTri 2027

The event in a few words

On the occasion of the Chia Sport Week 💪, all sports are in the spotlight in Italy, in Chia, right in the heart of Sardinia! 🏝️ The ChiaTri is one of the triathlons in Europe with the most breathtaking scenery 🤩. It would be a real shame to miss this late-April rendezvous 🤓. This event offers you a true vacation setting 🧳 for the duration of a race! You’ll have the chance to swim 🏊‍♂️, ride 🚴 and run 🏃 within the Chia Laguna Resort ✨, a hotel complex on the southern coast of the island of Sardinia 🏝️. The turquoise waters 🌊 and paradise landscapes will take you straight into a dream 😇. You’ll feel like you’re on the fine sandy beaches 🏖️ of the Balearic Islands 🌞.

Enough daydreaming 😅—you’ll be soaking up the sun on your deckchair after your triathlon 😎. You didn’t come here just for doing nothing! 😂 To make that happen, 3 triathlon courses are offered to you: a Sprint, an Olympic and a Medio. So there will be distances for everyone! 🤗 Whether you’re a beginner or experienced, a fan of short or long distance, the ChiaTri (pronounced "kia") has an event for you 😉. The shortest triathlon is the “ChiaTri Sprint” (equivalent to an XS format), with: 750 m swim, 20 km bike and 5 km run 👟. If you’re more competitive and dream of Olympic gold 🏅, the “ChiaTri Olympic” (equivalent to an S format) is made for you with its 1,500 m swim, 40 km bike and 10 km run! 🤓 And finally, you’ll also have the opportunity to take on an even bigger challenge, the “ChiaTri Medio” or the equivalent of an Ironman 70.3 🤯. That’s no less than a 1.9 km swim, 90 km bike and a half marathon waiting for you! 😯 We can assure you of one thing: these 113 km won’t leave you indifferent 🥵. And it’s not only the distances that will leave you speechless! 😏 All along the route 🛣️, the preserved nature 🌿, the Mediterranean Sea and the wildlife of the wild territory 🦅 of southern Sardinia will plunge you straight into a waking dream 💤.

You won’t be waking up from it anytime soon! ⏰ The organizers have thought of everything and promise you a friendly 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 and festive 🎉 atmosphere for the closing evening of the events 😌. A pasta party 🍝 will be organized to recharge your batteries 🔋 and hit the dancefloor 🕺 at the Chia Laguna Resort (well, if your legs still let you 😬). If you gave it your all during your triathlon, you can also enjoy the many services the resort offers and pamper yourself 💆‍♂️ for an evening… Or several, if you feel like extending your stay! 🥰

So, what could be better than combining vacation and sport and heading off to take part in the ChiaTri ? 😜
