"Look at his pace, he rides like crazy"
With legendary routes, the GranFondo Colnago Mont Ventoux repeats 🙌. The Giant of Provence, the star of the race, plays along to offer you its crazy paths and landscapes 💐. One thing is sure, you'll definitely find a distance you like because we provide both fun and challenge 💪. Between vineyards and mountains, starting from Vaison-la-Romaine, you'll have 3 gravel races and 3 cyclosportives 🥾. Everything takes place in June, under the beautiful Provençal sun, in the PACA region in the south of Vaucluse ☀️. Pack your gear but not too much, they're not shy with the gifts: free jerseys, energy provisions ⚡️, and quality refreshments, so lucky! 🎁
A hike, a weekend, in the sun, on your Gravel: PER-FECT. All you have to do is decide whether your gravel race will be sooner or later 📏. Let's go step by step, first: 47 km and 855 mD+. "La virade romaine" doesn't have a summit in view, but rather the AOC Ventoux vineyards 🍇, accompanied by the region's typical villages. Next, we offer "Braquet et Dentelles AOC Ventoux". 78 km to cross the gates of the Massif des Dentelles and the Comtat plain 🏞️, for a course with 1,610 mD+. After that, we go past the 100 and 2,000 mark, for 103 km and 2,000 mD+, no more jokes... 😬 "La grande escapade AOC Ventoux" will give you a nice discovery of the dentelles de Montmirail and the Drôme plains ✨.
Others won't joke much for the rest and will be playing the clock ⏱️. This time we start with the longest distance: 135 km and 3,200 mD+, we warned you we don't joke much anymore 🙂↕️. "Le Granfondo", as you might have guessed, will be on the legendary Mont Ventoux climb 🗻. Hats off in advance to all those who finish it because it will be a legendary effort 🤩. "Le mediofondo" will also take you to the Ventoux summit but from Sault ➡️. Be careful, the ascent is more accessible, but still very demanding for a course of 106 km and 2,600 mD+ ⚠️. We end the timed races with "le Picolofondo", a course of 80 km and 2,135 mD+ 📈. As with the previous race, the climb will be via Sault, with the intended purpose: to be at the Mont Ventoux summit ⭐️.
Riding a bike in the region lets you discover, yes, but not enough 🚴 and then, seeing the surroundings, you'll only want to extend this weekend and explore the region as you should 🤌. There are plenty of villages, all dreamy of that Provençal life 🌷. You know, the one where you have a nice stone house with the sound of cicadas in the background 🦗. Vaison-la-Romaine, Séguret, Malaucène… We're sure that if you pass by the real estate agencies 🏢, you'll take a peek at the deals to be had 👀. Walks in the fresh nature are also ideal to enjoy 🤩. You'll find lavender fields as far as the eye can see 🪻 and landscapes ranging from plains to mountains. Since this region thinks of everything, it also has a gastronomy that's totally good 👌. The Cavaillon melon, the sweet delight of the surroundings, will surely satisfy you 🟠. There are also the strawberries, oh yes, the Carpentras strawberries 🍓, you won’t find anything tastier. Full of natural and healthy things 🤪. Well, there's also the Montélimar nougat, which will make a good 4 PM snack 🕓.
Get out your best Gravel, prepare your legs, and put Vaison-la-Romaine on your GPS, let's go! 🚵♂️
