Dive into the Vosges massif on a 100% gravel race 🚵 where each course - 40 km, 80 km, or 125 km - starts and ends in Neufchâteau, at the heart of the mountains of the Grand Est. You will discover demanding and technical tracks to test both your endurance and your ability to manage elevation changes and dynamic relaunches! ⚡️ So how about kicking off the Gravel Fondo Vosges ? 😎
And what better way to start your sports season in the month of September with a race where challenge and discovery combine to introduce you to one of the most beautiful regions of France 🇫🇷. On the menu? The 125 km and 1,500 mD+! It represents a real challenge for seasoned and trained cyclists, while the 80 km and 1,000 mD+ offers an always intense intermediate distance: pace, relaunches, breath control… There will be plenty to exert yourself here! 🤪 Otherwise, you have the more chill and non-timed format: the 40 km and 800 mD+ which will offer you a pressure-free immersion in the forest 🌳, ideal if you want to explore this terrain between nature and history without burning out on the first climb 😉. Between breathtaking landscapes 💨, hilly roads, and picturesque villages 🍃 in the Western Vosges, you will only have to enjoy the scenery 🤩, not the ranking.
After giving it your all on the trails 🚴, continue the adventure within about 1 hour's drive around Neufchâteau and discover the Medieval Château de Haroué, an architectural gem 💎. Stroll through the streets of Mirecourt, the cradle of violin making, and visit a local workshop. Finally, take a relaxation break at the Vittel Spa 💧, to rejuvenate your tired legs after the effort 🦵.
Whether you're a fan of racing ⏱️, landscapes, or a personal challenge, the Gravel Fondo Vosges promises you a memorable experience between gravel grit and living heritage! Gravel is a win! 💪
The Grand Course is 125 km and 1,500 mD+ for those who want to push themselves. Right from the start, you zoom into the forest of Neufeys 🌲 and its gravel paths before diving into a more rural section towards Mirecourt. Then head to Vittel and its Thermal Park, between magnificent climbs, fun single tracks, and iconic passages. What's next? The Lake of Madness in Contrexéville 🌊, then a formidable climb at 16% that lives up to its name. You'll have about forty kilometers left to reach Neufchâteau 🏰, with a final ascent of 700 m at 15% 15 km from the finish 💥. A rolling, demanding, and varied course: the perfect challenge for gravel enthusiasts ready to tackle it 😎.
Like the other formats, you start strong with a climb that opens the doors to the Neufeys forest 🌲 and its incredible gravel paths 🤩. Then, it's off for a 15 km flat and fast section 💨. The wind may join in, but it's also the ideal opportunity to join a group and speed together. Things get tougher in the final with two steep hills, including the steepest of the day which stings at more than 15% 🔥. The descent towards Neufchâteau follows for about fifteen mostly downhill kilometers, perfect for relaxing the legs before the finish line 🏁.
The Short Course does not do things halfway! You follow the tough ones of the Medium and Large until the 17th kilometer, where everything is decided. From this first section, you tackle the majority of the positive elevation before diving into the magnificent forest of Neufeys 🌲 and its postcard-worthy white paths. But beware, the respite is short-lived: after a rapid descent, it's time for a second tough climb, with slopes flirting with 11% 😏. No pressure, this event is not timed!
You can pick up your race number in Neufchâteau, at the exhibitors' and activities village, on 09/27/2025, between 2 PM and 7 PM.
