Welcome to Compiègne! 🤗 This beautiful little city of the Hauts-De-France opens its doors to you at the beginning of spring 2025 with its Imperial Race 🏃‍♀️. Organized by the athletics club La Vie au Grand Air 🏟️, this race will be celebrating another birthday this year 🎂. What better way than a 10 km to discover Compiègne? 😎 Whether you're an amateur looking for your first running experience, or a seasoned record holder 🥇, this race will make a spot for you at the starting line! 🚩 Good news for budding champions, the race is part of the qualifying races for the French Championships 🇫🇷. All this promises quite a program waiting just for you! 🫶

In Compiègne there are plenty of beautiful little things to see, especially when you see them while running 🏎️. The start of the Imperial Race will be at the Route Tournante du Grand Parc 🎡, and the finish will be at the Stade Paul Petitpoisson in Compiègne 🐟. Most of the course will take place in the large and verdant Compiègne forest 🌿. At the 4th kilometer, runners will see the grand Château de Compiègne 🏰, a true historical relic of the city. Then, moving like a rocket, you'll pass by the Cour Guynemer with a breathtaking view of the Oise. There will be more surprises awaiting you, but the finish line is ready to embrace you 🫂, making you part of the grand family of finishers 🏁. A bonus point, there's a 48 mD+ on this course, so at times you'll need to push your legs a bit harder, but we trust you for that! 🦸

After storing your race number safely, we advise you to visit the surroundings 👣. If you're part of the thrill-seeker team, we can only recommend a visit to Parc Astérix 🎢. And if after all that you prefer some calm time 🧘‍♀️, we have other options for you. For example, you can visit the Palace of Compiègne and its gardens, stroll through the forest of Compiègne which can keep you occupied for quite a while 🤓. Finally, you can leave dry land and embark on a cruise on the Oise 🛥️. You'll enjoy the landscapes differently! 🏞️

Ready? Then let's go for the Imperial Races, a 10 km that will dazzle your eyes! 👀

You'll take off like a rocket from the Route Tournante du Grand Parc 🚀. At the start of the race, you'll run alongside the Oise 💧, from the Cour Guynemer, giving you a refreshing breath of fresh air 🍃. As you stride along, you'll dive into the heart of the large and beautiful forest of Compiègne 🪵, which will accompany you for almost the entire race! 🌳 Just before the halfway point, we recommend you lift your eyes 😎, and you'll catch sight of the majestic Château de Compiègne and its grand gardens 🪴. These landscapes should give you a second wind for the final stretch, which is not far away 🤩.

You'll just have a few more sprints to make, and then you'll finally arrive at the Paul Petitpoisson stadium to cross the finish line! 🏁

: You can pick up your race number on Sunday, March 29, 2026, from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM in Compiègne, at the Petitpoisson stadium.
: The race will start on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM, on the RN 31, at the Route Tournante du Grand Parc.
: To participate, runners must have been born in 2010 or earlier (Cadet category).
: They vary according to different criteria:
For FFA license holders, the registration fee is 13 euros, then 16 euros from 03/12/26
For non-license holders, the registration fee is 15 euros, then 18 euros from 03/12/26
: To participate you must be able to provide:
Either a valid Competition Athlete, Business Athlete, Running Athlete license or a Pass' I love running, issued by the FFA, valid on the date of the event.
Or a PPS (Health Prevention Path).
: Yes, there will be a refreshment station at km 5 and at the finish line.
