Ready for an unforgettable adventure under the starry sky of Morocco? 🌌 If so, La Boucle de l'Étoile (The Star Loop) in the Oriental Desert in the northeastern part of the country is the perfect event for you! 🎽 We hope you're not afraid of getting your feet in the golden sand because you'll be traversing routes across the desert! 🇲🇦
Routes? Oh yes, let us explain, there are 3 distances for trekking, trail running, and ultra-trail running available: an 84 km Trek for walkers, a Trail of the same distance for runners, a 104 km ultra-trail for athletes, and 126 km for ultra-athletes! No worries, these are stage races! We call them loops! For each one, you have three days to complete all the kilometers 🤩. To give you an idea, whether you are walking or doing the 84 km trail, you'll have completed the equivalent of 2 marathons in 3 days, and the 126 km ultra-trail represents the equivalent of 2 marathons! 😱 So, are you impressed? Trail runners and walkers can coexist with athletes in this versatile event, allowing participants of all fitness levels to discover the astonishing beauty of the Oriental Desert region!

Each night, you'll return to the camp 🏕️ to share dinner and enjoy the comfort of mattresses and tents to rejuvenate 😴. It's not just a race, it's an experience! A race for the 84 km, 104 km, and 126 km but an experience for the 84 km walkers! 🏃♂️ In this pristine environment, untouched by human footprints, you'll take trails, cross dunes, walk on a lake... and encounter various natural terrains! 🌾 You'll discover breathtaking landscapes, canyons, and red dunes, and there's more we aren't telling you! 🤫 Thanks to the organizing team composed of certified professionals, you won't have to worry about a thing 📚. You'll be picked up directly from Oujda airport and taken to the camp 🔥. Courses and the camp are secured and monitored 24/7! 🔦 The courses are managed by a team of high-altitude guides and assistant guides, ensuring maximum safety for every participant 🤠. Aid stations are set up on each loop (hence the name La Boucle de l’Étoile 🌟), offering quality refreshments and unlimited water 🤤. There will be a specialized medical team, including doctors, nurses, osteopaths, and physiotherapists to take care of you 👩⚕️.
La Boucle de l’Étoile in the Oriental Desert will give you the opportunity to see the diverse landscapes that Morocco has to offer. The Aïn Tigri Desert Spring 💧, the red sand speckled with green wild grass like emeralds 🌿, canyons, and mountains 🌄 resembling those in Colorado! Yet, you will indeed be in Morocco! A country rich in cultural, artistic, gastronomic, and architectural wealth, with strong ties to our hearts. By taking part in this Trail and Ultra Trail, you are directly contributing to charitable actions organized by La Boucle de l’Étoile ⭐. They focus on health by enabling cancer survivors to join the race, education by providing training and a solid schooling for young people without financial means to secure permanent jobs 🤝. Yes, you will need to have a medical certificate.
Yes, you must be 18 years old on the day of the race to participate.
You can collect your bib number on November 5, 2025, when you arrive at the Bivouac.
No, but the organizers will pick you up from Oujda to bring you to the bivouac and vice versa.
Separate men's and women's restrooms will be available at the bivouac.
Refreshment stations will be set up along the course at each stage.
The Oriental desert typically has an average monthly temperature of 20°C at this time of year. It can drop to 12°C at night in our race area, so don't forget to pack a warm layer to avoid feeling the chill in the desert.

The registration fee includes the following services:
Transfers by coach and minibus. Full board for each participant from Wednesday, November 5, to Sunday, November 9, 2025.
Lunches for walkers and runners in the form of a Lunch Box or snacks in the dining tent.

Organizational insurance.
Medical assistance (doctor, physical therapist, osteopath). Individual services are not included.
A backpack of 10/15 liters to carry 2 water bottles and snacks.
A LED headlamp (with spare batteries or battery pack).
