London Landmarks Half Marathon 2025

Get ready to head to Great Britain 🇬🇧, and more specifically to London for the Landmarks Half Marathon—a truly unique race 😏.

Did you know? 🤔 It's the only half marathon that runs through both London and Westminster. For 21 km, you'll be treated to views of iconic landmarks like Big Ben, the London Eye, and St. Paul's Cathedral ⛪️. Even though the course stays on the north bank, you'll still catch glimpses of "The Shard" and the iconic Tower Bridge. It's more than just a race; it's a full immersion in the rich culture and history of London 😍.

The unique aspects of the Landmarks Half Marathon don't end there! Founded with a charitable purpose 🎗️, the registration fees directly benefit the charity Tommy's. Since the 1970s, Tommy's has been dedicated to raising awareness and providing information on perinatal health and pregnancy complications 🤰. All proceeds support research 🔬 aimed at reducing miscarriage, premature birth, and stillbirth rates.

So how does registration work? 🤨

Although the race isn’t part of the Super Half series, its popularity means a lottery system 🎟️ is in place. Don't worry; we'll explain how it works! When registration opens, you’ll have just one week to enter. Keep in mind ⚠️, you can only enter once! ☝️ A few weeks later, if you're selected, you’ll receive a confirmation email from the organizer. You will then need to pay for your bib before the deadline. If you're not selected, you'll automatically be entered into the "second-chance draw". If luck still isn't on your side and you're STILL not chosen 😔, there’s one last option. Partner charity organizations offer bibs 🎽 in return for a fundraising commitment. For instance, Tommy's offers a bib with a fundraising goal of £350 💷.

Before the race, try the famous English Breakfast, traditionally consisting of toast 🍞, eggs 🍳, and bacon 🥓. It’s not uncommon to see beans 🫘, tomatoes 🥫, sausages 🌭, and other accompaniments...

But that's not all! If you feel like you didn’t get enough time to fully appreciate the landmarks during the race, use the rest of your weekend to go into full tourist mode 😎.
