Ready to roar with pleasure? 🐆
Fed up with serious trail runs where everyone keeps checking their watch? This festive, non-timed race is made for you! 🫵 Welcome to La Pan’Terre in Montbozon, a charming town in Haute-Saône, in Franche-Comté. Here, no need to keep time, but your goal is just as serious: avoid leaving a shoe in the mud! 🟫
Your inner child is bursting with excitement at the idea of taking part in this race, right? 🤡 Pan’Terre is a obstacle race of 6 km, ideal for all levels 💪. If you’ve always dreamed of crawling through mud in a tutu or climbing a wall dressed as a unicorn, now’s the time 🧗♂️. One thing’s for sure: you’ll come back neither clean nor disappointed 🤠. The course has about twenty obstacles, each more inventive than the last—nets, ramps, mud, walls, and maybe one or two slippery traps 👀. It’s the perfect opportunity to have a great time with friends, coworkers, or family 👨👩👦👦. The route links the Montbozon leisure center to the Thiénans treetop adventure course, which means you’ll go through nature, climb, slide, fall, get back up, fall again… 🥴 The watchwords? Laughter, teamwork, and costumes recommended 🦸. Plus, there will be activities all day long: a laser shooting stand (yes, really), prizes for the craziest costumes, music 🎵, food 🍽️, drinks 🍾 and dancing…🕺. Kids will also have plenty of fun with the junior 2.5 km course. A shorter version so their little legs and calves don’t get tired too quickly 🫡. And for the overprotective dads, don’t panic: a volunteer will bring up the rear to make sure no little one is left behind counting daisies 🌼. Safety will also be reinforced all along the route thanks to a larger staff presence, specifically for the occasion 🛡️. Kids will be able to run independently and safely, with around 15 obstacles to tackle 🚧.
And after getting muddy from head to toe, what do we do? First, we wash up 🧼, and then we explore the area! 🔍 Swap dirty sneakers for the car and turn on the GPS towards Belfort and its legendary lion. Of course, like any monument worth earning, you’ll have to fire up the engine and drive for a good hour, but we promise it’s worth it 🕯️. If you’re more in search of a big breath of fresh air, you can also go hiking on the Franche-Comté section of the St. James’ Way to Compostela 🐚. And if you really want to fully immerse yourself in local clichés, don’t hesitate to enjoy some delicious frog legs in a local restaurant, a blueberry tart 🫐, or a little Sainte-Catherine pig 🍫. Honestly, your stomach will thank you 🤤.
Fair warning: this race is drop-dead Pan’Terre! 🤪
