Head to the north of Morocco! The Rif Blue Peaks offers you a complete crossing: start with your feet almost in the Mediterranean and finish amid the blue facades of Chefchaouen ⛰️.
The menu comes in three formats. The CTT 60, around 60 km, sets off from Kaa Asras beach for a real day of point-to-point trail running. The CTT 30 starts from Akchour, the gateway to the gorges, for a shorter but still very mountainous version. And to get a taste of the trails without spending the whole day out, a 10km completes the program.
In between, you cross the Talassemtane National Park, with its gorges, forests and hilltop villages where children come out to applaud the runners. A setting tailor-made for fans of mountain races and city-to-city routes. The final stretch is run through the alleys of the Chefchaouen medina to Outa el Hammam square. 💙
Behind the event are Karim Mosta and the Sport Solidarité association, who kept Chefchaouen la Traversée Trail going for four editions before giving it this new name. The route remains the same, the ambition grows: the race is announced as a UTMB World Series qualifier.
A next-gen platform helping sports enthusiasts of all levels discover territories and heritage through races tailored to them.
