The event in a few words
Attention Lyon families! It's in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, right in the heart ❤️ of the Rhône department and just a few steps from the capital of Gaul (and the Gones 🧒) that it all happens 😉. The Run Écully will take place at the end of May ☀️, in the beautiful setting of the campus of the École Centrale de Lyon 🏫 with locker rooms, athletics track 🏃, wooded routes 🌲 and other surprises ✨.
For the new edition of this event, the ambition is still to establish itself as an essential meeting 🗓️ for athletes of all levels in the West Lyonnais 💪. You can now reserve your Sunday with your family for a festive experience 🥳 around running with 3 race formats accessible to all 👨👩👧👦. The newcomer this year: a trail of 20 km and 400 mD+! Enough to discover the practice by taking on a beautiful challenge 😉. You can also start on a 10 km course between nature and road, which will lead you through the green spaces of Écully and cross the Vallons de Bois de Serres 🌳. Its 106 hectares of forests and streams and nearly as many bird species 🦅, will dazzle you! 🤩 If you don't plan to take the time to admire the landscape 🖼️, give it your all to the finish line 🏁 and try to grab one of the awards given to the top 3 overall, men and women 😍. Younger and less experienced runners can participate in the 6 km course, an ideal distance for trying out running 🤓. The Run Écully is above all a friendly event, to share the passion of sport 🫶 with the largest number and promote sporting gatherings 📢 around the city of Lyon 🦁. This year, if you're more in the "late riser" team ⏰, you will also have the opportunity to participate in the race starting at 10:30 am, the "Relais des Écoliers"🏃♂️.
The Run Écully offers a unique concept that will undoubtedly win you over 😏: you come to run and stay to enjoy yourself! 🎉 After your race, several musical activities 🎵, food stands 🌭 and many other surprises 🎁 will be waiting for you and your loved ones 🤗. It's the perfect opportunity to take a moment for yourself and also for others 🤝. Indeed, the start of the Relais des Écoliers will be given shortly afterwards! 🎊 You can therefore encourage the children from the schools of Écully 🎒, who might be the future trail runners ⛰️ of a future edition of the Run Ecully? 🤔

And here is the veteran of the event! With its 20 km length, this race can be daunting 🥶, but we assure you that you'll make it. After all, you just need to move your legs in rhythm and run straight 🤜.
20 km is almost a Half-Marathon. It'll give you an idea of your performance on such a key distance 🦸♂️. Moreover, the course involves running the 10 km loop twice: you'll be able to orient yourself and know where to accelerate in the second lap 🔄. And for the best atmosphere, the start and finish lines for 6, 10, and 20 km are at the same location. You might hear the crowd cheering before you even see them! 😉 Hold your head high, hit the turbo 🏎️, and cross the finish line under applause 👏.

A 10 km route in a setting between city and nature in Écully. It's a loop race 🔁 that will allow you to run in the woods 🪵. You start your race within the Centrale de Lyon campus, the first kilometers take you through the slightly more urban part of your route, leading to the Bois de Serres with its hilly paths ⛰️.

The 6 km route is perfect for a first running race bib 👍. It is in the form of a loop that you will cross one of the most beautiful parts of the city. The start is located on the campus Centrale de Lyon. The beginning of the route is the same as the 10 km until you take a shortcut towards the campus and reach the cinder track finish.

The school relay is a race adapted for children and will start at 10:30 am! 👧

On Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 10 am to 6 pm at the DECATHLON Ecully store
On Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 8 am, at the École Centrale.
The start and finish of the races take place at the École Centrale plaza at:
8:30 am for the 20 km
8:45 am for the 10 km
9:00 am for the 6 km

Gifts are included in the bib price. However, t-shirts will be available only for the first 401 registrants.

Yes, a PPS (Health Prevention Pathway) certificate dated less than three months before the race date is necessary to participate. Valid FFA licenses (or equivalent federation) are also accepted.
Medical certificates are no longer valid.
For the 6 km: maximum time limit of 1h30
For the 10 km: maximum time limit of 2h15
For the 20 km: maximum time limit of 3h
Yes, a refreshment station is planned at km 5 on the 10 km and 6 km courses. For the 20 km, there will be one refreshment station at km 5 and another at km 15. Another refreshment will be organized at the finish line.
