The Costa Brava is in the spotlight, giving your run a vacation vibe! 🤩 But that’s no excuse to stop for a drink at the refreshment stand 😂. It's tempting, we know 👀, especially as the Run Festival Tossa de Mar is the perfect event for some fun in the sun! 🎉 By the Mediterranean Sea 🌊, in the Catalonia region, lies a natural haven away from the crowds 🤫. Good news, this will be the setting for the races this Sunday in May: the Massif de Cadiretes, or Ardenya as some call it!
You have two ways to explore the massif 🤓: via the trails or by road! 🛣️ Here, all runners enjoy the same stunning sceneries overlooking the sea 🥰. The only difference is the distance ↔️. The farther you go, the more you’ll admire the beautiful beaches 🏖️, coves, and creeks lining the coast. Choose between 5 km, 10 km or 21 km on the pavement, or 8 km or 17 km through the woods! 🌳 You're guaranteed not to get lost along the routes 🧭, as there are out-and-backs for road races and loops for trail runs 🔄️. You'll appreciate the landscapes twice as much! 😎 The finish line will be easy to find, as the atmosphere will be hot 🔥. The Run Festival Tossa de Mar attracts hundreds of supporters 👏 in the town center and on the beaches to properly celebrate running! 🏆

For this half-marathon starting from the Grande Plage, you'll run along the Bay of Tossa 🌊 and its Carbonera and Mar Menuda beaches. You'll pass over the coves of L'Infern and Boada, then continue on the road that crosses the Massif de Cadiretes! You'll be able to take in the views of the coves of Sant Jaume, Bona, and Pola 🏞️. Then, you'll circle around the Camping de Pola and the Pola Giverola Resort 🛝 with the Bordims cove. You will run by the seaside, in a haven of unspoiled nature! You'll need to reach Bol Nou beach before turning back 🔄️. Your race will conclude through the center of Tossa before crossing the finish line on the beach! 🏖️

For this trail run of 17 km starting from the Grande Plage, you'll head straight towards Camping Can Marti ⛺. From there, you'll find yourself immersed in the natural surroundings and the groves of the Cadiretes Massif! You'll make a loop that takes you almost to the Fotedera cove and Pedredra beach before you turn back and return through the center of Tossa to cross the finish line at the Grande Plage! 🏖️

For this 10 km race starting from the Grande Plage, you'll run alongside the stunning Bay of Tossa 🌊 and its beaches, Carbonera and Mar Menuda. You'll pass over the scenic coves of L'Infern and Boada, before heading onto the road that cuts through the Massif de Cadiretes! You'll get to enjoy the picturesque views of the coves of Sant Jaume, Bona, and Pola 🏞️. Once you reach the Camping de Pola, it's time to turn back and retrace your steps, finishing up at the center of Tossa before crossing the finish line on the beach! 🏖️

You can pick up your race bib on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 4 PM to 8 PM and on Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 7:15 AM to 9 AM at the Tossa del Mar Town Hall.
All races will start on Sunday, May 18, 2025, on the Paseo de Mar in Tossa de Mar, in front of Playa Grande:
at 9 AM for the 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km races
at 9:05 AM for the 8 km and 17 km trails
For the 21 km: 16 years old
