Trail runner or roadie, the playground will be the same! ๐๏ธ Head to Tossa de Mar, between the seaside and mountains โฐ๏ธ. The Costa Brava will be in the spotlight, giving your race a holiday feel! ๐คฉ However, this is not a reason to stop for a drink at the refreshment terrace ๐. We know it will be tempting ๐, but at the same time, the Run Festival Tossa de Mar, is the perfect event to party in the sun! ๐ By the Mediterranean ๐, in the Catalonia region, lies a nature haven kept from the general public ๐คซ. Good news, it will be the stage for the events this Sunday of May: the Massif of Cadiretes, or the Ardenya (whichever you prefer)!
And you will be able to discover the massif in two different ways ๐ค: through the paths or the road! ๐ฃ๏ธ Yes, here, there is no inequality between runners, you will all be entitled to the same landscapes and breathtaking seascapes ๐ฅฐ. But only one parameter will vary: the distance โ๏ธ. The further you go, the more you can admire the beaches ๐๏ธ, coves, and inlets that line the coast. It's up to you to choose between 5 km, 10 km, or 21 km on the pavement or 8 or 17 km through the thickets! ๐ณ What's certain is that you won't get lost on the routes ๐งญ as they are out-and-back for the road races and loops for the trails ๐๏ธ. At least you'll be able to enjoy the landscapes for twice as long! ๐ And you'll find the finish without any problem as the atmosphere will be caliente ๐ฅ. The Run Festival Tossa de Mar brings together hundreds of supporters ๐ in the city center and on the beaches to properly celebrate running! ๐
And the party continues even after the event! ๐ฅณ But since we know you'll have given it your all in your race ๐ฅต, we prefer to give you some tips to relax and end your weekend on a chill note, lounging with your feet up ๐. Speaking of lounging, we suggest getting a fan if you plan to sunbathe on the beach! ๐ชญ "Hace mucho calor en la playa de Tossa": says the deck chair waiting for you at the water's edge ๐. To enjoy the end of the day, you can dive into the culture of the city this time, by visiting the medieval old town of Tossa de Mar and its castle ๐ฐ.

For this half-marathon starting from the Grande Plage, you'll run along the Bay of Tossa ๐ and its Carbonera beaches and Mar Menuda. You'll pass over the coves of L'Infern and Boada, then run on the road that crosses the Massif de Cadiretes! You can admire the rocky inlets of Sant Jaume, Bona, and Pola ๐๏ธ. You will then bypass the Camping de Pola and the Pola Giverola Resort ๐ with the cove of Bordims. You'll run along the seaside, in a haven of untouched nature! You will need to go to the Bol Nou beach before turning back ๐๏ธ. Your race will finish through the center of Tossa before crossing the finish line on the beach! ๐๏ธ

For this trail of 17 km starting from the Grande Plage, you will head directly to Camping Can Marti โบ. From here, you will be immersed in the nature and groves of the Massif de Cadiretes! You will complete a loop that will take you almost to the Fotedera cove and the Pedredra beach, then you will turn back and return through the center of Tossa to cross the finish line on the Grande Plage! ๐๏ธ

You will pass above the coves of L'Infern and Boada, then run on the road that crosses the Cadiretes Massif! You will be able to admire the creeks of Sant Jaume, Bona, and Pola ๐๏ธ. Once you reach the Camping de Pola, it will be time to turn back and retrace your steps, ending at the center of Tossa before crossing the finish line on the beach! ๐๏ธ

You can pick up your race bib on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 7:15 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. at the Town Hall of Tossa de Mar.
All the races will start on Sunday, May 17, 2026, on the Paseo de Mar in Tossa de Mar, in front of Playa Grande:
at 9:00 a.m. for the 5 km, 10 km, and 21 km
at 9:05 a.m. for the 8 km and 17 km trails
For the 21 km and the 17 km trail: 16 years old
For the 10 km: 14 years old

Minors must present parental authorization to participate in the race.
