The event in a few words

Here, you’re coming to put the badge away, lace up your sneakers, and prove the tech ecosystem has stamina! 🏃 It’s time to go from “pitch” to “pace” with the SISTA Run 💖. The meeting point is in the heart of Paris for a unique 6 km format, accessible to everyone—whether you’re a founder in the middle of a rush or an investor looking to network 👨‍💻. The end of the week is sealed: a race, in the capital, under the morning sunshine of June 🤝. This race is shaping up to be the official sporty after-party of VivaTech, designed to extend the week’s energy in a new way 🏢.

To introduce the project a bit more, SISTA is an association working to reduce funding inequalities between women and men in entrepreneurship 🎀. By making it easier for female founders to access capital, networks, and strategic resources, they act to help bring out a new generation of diverse leaders 🦾. Through support programs and advocacy, the organization durably transforms the tech and financial ecosystem 🏦. That’s where the expression “ Vivatech ” we used just before comes from 🤓. By coming to run here, you support this mission and join a movement that wants to make the business world fairer 🚀.

With a week that’s probably tiring, energy-draining, and full of emotions, treating yourself to a community run is the perfect timing 👌. So get your outfit, your sneakers, and your legs ready, and warm up at the start 😃. On a unique 6 km course, the route is pretty well put together. This race takes place along the Seine riverbanks, with along the way: the Musée d’Orsay, Les Invalides, the Champ-de-Mars, the Trocadéro and more ...🏛️ Ahhh you could almost believe you’ve booked yourself a weekend in “ tourist mode ” in the capital 🇫🇷. No, more seriously, it’s the perfect setting to keep chatting, build connections, and enjoy it all! 💫 With the ambition to create stronger connections, the Sista run team wanted to see further, to extend these discussions by bringing them to life in a different way 💬. You’ve understood that here, there will be no place for the stopwatch—it’ll be tucked away nicely in a drawer at home, put away and hidden! What’s planned is an atmosphere as light as your stride 🎈.

After the effort, don’t forget it’s only Saturday morning and you still have the whole weekend ahead of you 🧘‍♀️. Before getting back to the Monday routine, make time and go rediscover Paris. Between the “ Iron Lady ” (and its 674 steps if you want to challenge yourself), the Notre-Dame Cathedral of Paris, the Louvre… 😃 You probably know these places by heart, so here are some more hidden corners: the Jardin des Plantes, for a breath of fresh air, the Mouzaïa neighborhood with its magnificent buildings, or La Cité Florale, this beautifully preserved spot 💐. On top of that, it’ll be a pretty special date! You’ll be able to celebrate the arrival of summer and the Fête de la Musique 🎵. There’ll be plenty to help you unwind 😌.

Now all you have to do is grab your bib and come end your week gently, to connect and get moving! ⚡️

4 reasons to join this race

Run for parity 🎀
By taking part in the SISTA Run, your support goes directly to an association that is transforming the financial ecosystem. SISTA makes it easier for female founders to access capital and strategic resources to break the glass ceiling. You’re setting off to help reduce funding inequalities between women and men 👯‍♀️.
An extension of VivaTech 💡
It all started with a simple conversation: how can we meet up differently after a week at the trade show? Running emerged as the ideal format to extend the energy of VivaTech that Sista created. They’re creating a moment to step away from booths and talks for something more direct and spontaneous in the heart of the city 🌐.
Networking in sneakers 🤝
Here, connections happen naturally and effortlessly, far from the formality of traditional meetings. You’ll come across a wide range of profiles—founders or investors—brought together by the same desire to move forward together. The conversations started during the week will continue along the riverbanks, creating much stronger bonds🔋.
End the week in style 🎈
You’ll put the perfect finishing touch on it to unwind after days packed with meetings and screens. A peaceful Saturday, with the feeling of having lived a powerful, embodied moment, is the best possible reward 💫.

A word from the organizer:

"We wanted to offer another way to come together. A moment that extends VivaTech’s energy, but in a different setting. Simpler, more direct, more collective. A moment where exchanges happen naturally, where connections form effortlessly. What we love about this race is what it makes possible. Seeing teams come together, different profiles crossing paths, conversations starting while running or at the finish. Feeling a shared energy, almost self-evident. And then there’s also something very simple: ending the week together, in motion, in a joyful atmosphere. If participants leave with the feeling that they had a great time, that they met in a different way, and that they usefully extended the week’s conversations, then we’ll have won our bet"
