Ready to enter the legend of the trail knights? ⚔️ In May, the Trail des Conquérants awaits you 🔥. This medieval town is listed among the "Most Beautiful Villages of France", recognized as a "Petite Cité de Caractère" and proudly labeled "Terre de Jeux 2024". Nestled on its rocky spur, this place offers a setting worthy of a legend for the valiant knights of modern times 🛡️. With its permanent trail station and its many waymarked routes, it’s the perfect training ground to sharpen your legs like a Damascus blade! ✨
The Trail des Conquérants program is a true call to adventure 🏰, designed for all trail heroes, whether novice squires or seasoned trail lords 👑. Picture yourself, tackling the same loop for 6 hours… enough time to plan your meals for the week, invent epic storylines, or simply clear your mind completely 🌀. Yes, we admit it, it’s a bit of a torturous challenge… but the crazier it is, the more glorious, right? 😜 You can choose between two quests: the "nature race" a 4 km loop with 100 m of elevation gain 🏞️, or a 5 km loop called "Esprit Trail" (that says a lot about the vibe 🫂) totaling 220 mD+, reserved for adventurers seeking thrills. And if the event seems too tough for a lone knight, form your squad! 🛡️ Choose your allies and set off to conquer in a team for a relay of 2, 3 or 4 🫂.
If the challenge seems too extreme, other quests are offered: a 5 km trail for sprinters ⚡, a 10 km for the agile, a 21 km, and even a 42 km 💥. Prepare your chain mail, your helmet, and your chariot 🛡️, because here, performance blends with madness. The little squires will also have their moment of glory 👦 with two junior races. The 7–10-year-olds will set off to conquer a 1,000 m course in the town, with 30 mD+ (not to be underestimated)🏞️, while the 11–16-year-olds will take on the challenge of a 2,000 m circuit with 50 mD+ 🌟. These fun events, capped off with a quiz on the chivalric values of sport ❤️, will reward the bravest with superb trophies 🏅.
And this year, there is a great new addition announced! Thanks to Biathlon Concept there will be a biathlon event, summer version ☀️. You’ll alternate trail running and laser rifle shooting, to create the "Biatrail" 🔫. Don’t panic— all the rules will be explained on site, so everyone is up to speed 😌. But the party doesn’t stop at the finish line 🎉! A DJ will fire up the atmosphere until 1 a.m. 🌙, with a dance floor and a refreshment stand to refuel valiant dancers 🫣. In the evening, a feast worthy of a royal banquet 🍽️ will be served with two menus to choose from. And to dive even deeper into the medieval vibe, an armored combat show ⚔️ and an interactive workshop will transport you back to the time of castles and crusades 🛡️.
What’s more, each registration contributes to a noble cause 💖: €1 is donated to the Ruban Bleu, association, which works to raise awareness about various illnesses such as Multiple Sclerosis 💫. In addition, they aim to highlight the benefits and great usefulness of sport in the daily well-being of patients. So, put on your armor, sharpen your mind, and get ready to experience a legendary adventure in Sainte-Suzanne! ☄️
And after conquering the trails, why not extend the adventure in tourism mode? 🌟 Discover the Sainte-Suzanne castle, perched on its mound, offering a breathtaking view over the surrounding lands 🏞️. Stroll along the Erve, a river lined with historic mills 🌿, or wander through the village’s cobbled lanes, where craftspeople and food shops await you for a journey back in time 🍷.
Sign up and leave your mark in history by proving that you too have what it takes to be a legendary hero! 🫵
A word from the organizer:
"I am an Ultra Trail runner myself, a passionate person who loves to share and pass things on. These trails are really worth the detour! The routes are top-notch and there is a race for every level, from beginner to someone who wants to train for a UT, almost 1 volunteer for 10 participants, super rich aid stations that would put famous races to shame, the chance to run through History. Race prices are always affordable so as many people as possible can enjoy them. It's an event that brings friends and family together, a day of sharing and joy. To experience and relive, again and again."

Total: 1.8 km of running and 15 targets to clear. No timer ⏱️ in front of your eyes 👀, but a final ranking based on time and accuracy. Dial in your aim: each missed target costs you a 5-second penalty.
