The event in a few words

Amidst the Flowers of Scotland, we're offering you a unique event. Not a rugby match ๐Ÿ‰, of course, but a superb trail in the United Kingdom ๐Ÿƒ.

Meet in May at Blair Castle near Blair Atholl for an epic weekend ๐Ÿค™. Here, we are in the real, deep, natural Scotland ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐ŸŽจ. Very Highlander, very Outlander, very Harry Potter. The iconic landscapes you see on social media ๐Ÿ“ฑ, you will run through them: pure class ๐Ÿ˜Ž. The saying goes that Scotland is often rainy ๐ŸŒง๏ธ and windy ๐Ÿ’จ, but in May, you'll just have a blast! ๐Ÿฆถ It's the perfect conditions ๐Ÿ‘Œ for a trail. Not just one, we're generous, you'll have the choice among 5 routes ๐Ÿ–! With a children's race to boot! ๐Ÿง’

In the Perth & Kinross area, known as "big tree country", you'll run much of it through the woods ๐ŸŒณ, no matter which of the 5 distances you choose. If you're motivated, you'll embark on the "Full Tilt Ultra", spanning 58 km. You'll climb two munros, Scottish mountains โ›ฐ๏ธ standing over 900m tall. The total elevation gain? You'll find out in the moment, we keep the suspense alive ๐Ÿ™ƒ. After all, Scotland ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ณ๓ ฃ๓ ด๓ ฟ is full of surprises ๐ŸŽ. One more, one less... ๐Ÿคซ You also have the "Dearg Up nโ€˜ Doon" of 30 km where you'll encounter just one โ˜๏ธ munro this time. It's still pretty good, your thighs will burn ๐Ÿ”ฅ but you'll love it ๐Ÿฅฐ. The "Atholl Trail Half Marathon" begins the next day for 21 km through the lochs ๐Ÿ›ถ and forest trails ๐ŸŒฒ. It's one of the most popular, and for good reason, you'll produce enough lactic acid for the month without leaving your lungs on the ground ๐Ÿซ. Itโ€™s 21 km of pure pleasure! ๐Ÿคฉ For 13 km, you can take on the "Banvie Burn": a fun-filled experience ๐ŸŽ‰ in the midst of nature ๐ŸŒณ. Keep your eyes open ๐Ÿ‘€ to soak up as much of the atmosphere around you. If you're lucky, you'll cross paths with some typical local species ๐Ÿ‘, particularly Shetland horses ๐Ÿด. They're fluffy and short-legged but absolutely adorable ๐Ÿ˜ป. If you're less keen on kilometers (it's less tasty than a Sunday Roast ๐Ÿฒ), want to take it easy, or if you're starting out and wish to experience trail running in style, "Dianaโ€™s Grove", at 7 km, is the perfect race for you ๐Ÿซต. No huge mountains to climb ๐Ÿง— like its big sisters of 58 km and 32 km BUT a few technical passages and some elevation ๐Ÿ“ˆ not to be overlooked! Sam Heughan will need to step up, the real soldier will be you!

At Blair Atholl, we want no jealousy: we share everything together ๐Ÿ‘ฅ. Therefore, children are just as welcome ๐Ÿ™Œ and can participate in their own trail. The "Kids Fun Run" is the perfect race for mini-runners to have their moment of glory ๐Ÿ…. And because happiness never comes alone, many other surprises await you ๐ŸŽŠ: an outdoor cinema ๐ŸŽฌ, a yoga session ๐Ÿง˜, camping ๐Ÿ•๏ธ, conferences ๐ŸŽค, small concerts ๐ŸŽถโ€ฆ A festive weekend from start to finish! ๐Ÿฅณ

In the area, recovery is festive but also touristic! ๐Ÿค  Scotland isn't only about whisky ๐Ÿฅƒ and Loch Ness ๐ŸŸ. It's also the castles ๐Ÿฐ, the aqueducts ๐ŸŒ‰, the cliffs, the neo-Gothic architectureโ€ฆ If you want to take the opportunity for a little road trip ๐Ÿš— now's the time! Besides the charming village ๐Ÿ˜๏ธ of Blair Atholl and its castle dating from the 13th century, there are plenty of delightful spots to explore leisurely ๐Ÿ˜Œ. A multitude of hikes ๐Ÿฅพ await at Glen Tilt, tours at Balmoral, Saint-Andrews, Inverness, or even Aberdeen and Edinburgh for those not afraid of driving on the left. After your race, you'll surely want to fill your head with memories, your heart with joy, and your stomach with food ๐Ÿฅ˜! You'll encounter many different styles depending on your visit choices, but don't leave without trying the Scottish smoked salmon, a good bowl of stovies (potato-based ๐Ÿฅ”), haggis, or tarts ๐Ÿฅง and desserts ๐Ÿฎ made with Scotch like cranachan!

So are you ready to frolic in the land of thistles? ๐ŸŒธ
