The event in a few words

Amid the Flowers of Scotland, we offer you a unique event. Not a rugby match ๐Ÿ‰, of course, but a magnificent trail in the United Kingdom ๐Ÿƒ.

Join us in May at Blair Castle near Blair Atholl for an exciting weekend ๐Ÿค™. Here, we're in the true, deep, natural Scotland ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐ŸŽจ. Very Highlander, very Outlander, very Harry Potter. Those typical landscapes you see on social media ๐Ÿ“ฑ, you'll be running through them: truly impressive ๐Ÿ˜Ž. It's often said that Scotland is rainy ๐ŸŒง๏ธ and windy ๐Ÿ’จ, but in May, you'll just have a blast! ๐Ÿฆถ These are perfect conditions ๐Ÿ‘Œ for a trail. But not just one, we're generous, you'll have a choice of 5 routes ๐Ÿ–! Plus, a kids' race as well! ๐Ÿง’

In the region of Perth & Kinross, "big tree country", you'll run a good portion in the woods ๐ŸŒณ, no matter which of the 5 distances you choose. If you're motivated, you'll head for the "Full Tilt Ultra", stretching 58 km. You'll climb two munros, Scottish mountains โ›ฐ๏ธ rising more than 900m high. The total elevation? You'll find out on the spot, we're keeping the suspense until the end ๐Ÿ™ƒ. After all, Scotland ๐Ÿด is full of surprises ๐ŸŽ. One more, one lessโ€ฆ ๐Ÿคซ You also have the "Dearg Up nโ€˜ Doon" at 30 km where you'll climb just one โ˜๏ธ munro this time. It's still pretty tough, your thighs will burn ๐Ÿ”ฅ but you'll love it ๐Ÿฅฐ. The "Atholl Trail Half Marathon" kicks off the next day for 21 km through lochs ๐Ÿ›ถ and forest paths ๐ŸŒฒ. It's one of the most loved for a reason, you'll produce enough lactic acid for the month without collapsing ๐Ÿซ. It's 21 km of pure joy! ๐Ÿคฉ At 13 km, you can enjoy the "Banvie Burn": a packed fun ๐ŸŽ‰ in the heart of nature ๐ŸŒณ. Keep your eyes wide open ๐Ÿ‘€ to soak as much of the atmosphere around you. If you're lucky, you'll come across some typical local species ๐Ÿ‘, especially the Shetland horses ๐Ÿด. They're shaggy and short-legged but absolutely adorable ๐Ÿ˜ป. If you're less greedy for kilometers (it's less tasty than a Sunday Roast ๐Ÿฒ), want to take it easy, or if you're starting and want to experience your first trail in style, "Dianaโ€™s Grove", at 7 km, is the perfect race for you ๐Ÿซต. No giant mountain to climb ๐Ÿง— like its big sisters of 58 km and 32 km BUT some technical passages and elevation ๐Ÿ“ˆ not to be overlooked! Sam Heughan will have to watch out, the real warrior will be you!

In Blair Atholl, we want no jealousy: we share together ๐Ÿ‘ฅ. Kids are just as welcome ๐Ÿ™Œ and can also participate in their own trail. The "Kids Fun Run" is the perfect race for mini-runners to have their moment of glory ๐Ÿ…. And because happiness never comes alone, many other surprises will be awaiting you ๐ŸŽŠ: an outdoor cinema ๐ŸŽฌ, yoga session ๐Ÿง˜, camping ๐Ÿ•๏ธ, conferences ๐ŸŽค, small concerts ๐ŸŽถโ€ฆ A festive weekend from start to finish! ๐Ÿฅณ

In the area, recovery is done in a festive style, but also as a tourist! ๐Ÿค  Scotland is not just about whisky ๐Ÿฅƒ and Loch Ness ๐ŸŸ. Indeed, alcohol is dangerous for health and should be consumed in moderation โš ๏ธ. It's also about castles ๐Ÿฐ, aqueducts ๐ŸŒ‰, cliffs, neo-Gothic architectureโ€ฆ If you want to seize the chance for a little road trip ๐Ÿš—, now's the time! Besides the charming village ๐Ÿ˜๏ธ of Blair Atholl and its castle dating back to the 13th century, there are plenty of charming places to explore while taking it easy ๐Ÿ˜Œ. Numerous hikes ๐Ÿฅพ await you at Glen Tilt, visits to Balmoral, Saint-Andrews, Inverness or even Aberdeen and Edinburgh for those who arenโ€™t afraid of driving on the left. After your race, you'll surely want to fill your mind with memories, your heart with joyful moments, and your stomach with food ๐Ÿฒ! You'll encounter many different styles depending on your touring choices, but don't leave without trying the smoked Scottish salmon, a good bowl of stovies (potato-based ๐Ÿฅ”), haggis, or the pies ๐Ÿฅง and desserts ๐Ÿฎ made with Scotch like cranachan!

So, are you ready to frolic in the land of thistles? ๐ŸŒธ
