Triton world series : https://finals.tritonworldseries.com/
Another announcement that will melt the hearts of our triathletes! 🔊 To set the scene a bit, we'll start by talking about Triton World Series, does that ring a bell? 🤔 If you're somewhat immersed in the triathlon 🏃♀️ world, you've either heard of it or you've already participated in one of their races! 🎽 Otherwise, it's an organization without which triathletes couldn't survive! 😎 And for good reason, they organize events across the globe! 🌎 But that's not why we're luring you in, if you're reading this, it's to participate in the TRITON WORLD FINALS! 🏆 Yes, the championship has been announced and now, you have to fight to earn your spot for the final event of the circuit! 🎫 And even if you're a Muggle, you can participate in this final alongside great triathletes 😉. Among all the dream destinations they already offer, this time they chose to settle in Portimão, in Portugal! 🇵🇹
As for the triathlons: the "TRITON SPRINT" consists of 1,000m of swimming, 36km of cycling, and 7km of running, perfect for seasoned athletes who love intensity in effort! 💨 The "TRITON MIDDLE" invites you to double everything! 2,000m of swimming, 72km of cycling, and 14km of running! This race has a second name: splitting 🔪 the difference in two! 🍐 Because, for endurance specialists, in search of a new feat, there's the "TRITON LONG", which, as the name suggests, is long 🤗. 3,000m of swimming (arms scream for help) 108km of cycling (calves cry for aid) and 21km of running (legs agonize) 🚴♀️. But don't panic, because there's a little surprise in all this! 🎁 For you who are used to the classic triathlon, where everything happens in succession, well forget what you know because at the TRITON WORLD FINALS, the three disciplines are spread over three consecutive days! 📆 Isn't that grand? To make it clear, the first day will be dedicated to swimming 🏊♂️, regardless of format, the second day to cycling 🚴♂️, and the third day to running! 🏃♂️ And you already know what advantage this news brings, the rest! 😴 A nice break between each event can only do good! 🫵
You're probably wondering how they manage the rankings! 🤷♀️ It's very simple: "The athlete who finishes first obtains 1 point, the second 2 points, the third 3 points, and so on until the last. At the end of the third day, the athlete with the fewest points wins the race. In case of a tie, the athlete who finishes two of the three races ahead of the other wins." Word of the orga! 📩 And if we're talking about a well-organized triathlon, it's also because of their highly complete participant kit! 🩱 You could almost come without your equipment (though we recommend you bring your gear)! 🩲 The kits are divided into three colors: white for the "Sprint" 🤍, red for the "Middle" ❤️ and black for the "Long"! 🖤
It's time for you to learn more about the competition venue! 📍 If you're looking for a place to sweat with pleasure, then you must head to Portimão 🌇, this little gem of the Algarve where even the lazy end up moving! 💪 First, imagine the scenery: golden cliffs 🌅 plunging into the Atlantic, endless beaches inviting you to run Baywatch-style! 👯♀️ A city where every alley seems to whisper in your ear 👂: "you've never seen anything so beautiful, right?" with a sly air. 😏 Even the food challenges you: grilled sardines 🐟, a local specialty, are so delicious yet so light you'll almost have to order a second dish 🍲. And if you ever feel guilty after a hearty arroz de marisco, don't worry 😋: a little hike on the coastal trails will set everything right 🤠. Regarding culture, there are museums rich in maritime history and fishing industry 🎣, lively markets where you can get your cardio working by negotiating sun-filled fruits! 🍇
