The Ultra Trail Wudang Mountains will present quite the challenge 💪, as in the Wudang Mountains, starting from Wudangshan, the elevation gain will be more than impressive! 📈 This ultra-trail is definitely for seasoned trail runners and hill-climbing enthusiasts 🥵.
And that's not all that might make you grit your teeth: you'll also need to endure the distance! ↔️ There are three races to choose from: 26.20 km with 1,510 mD+, 52.60 km with 3,010 mD+, or the event's behemoth at 72.60 km with 4,440 mD+! 🤯 Whether it's 25, 50, or 70 km, you'll need to stay motivated to reach the finish line 🏁. But we think we've found a great reason for you to keep on pace: the Wudang Mountains are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It's also a globally renowned Taoist sacred land 🌍. You'll be running through ancient temples and a pristine natural setting 🌿. And that's not all! ☝️ This place is full of countless secrets 🤫. The Wudang Mountains are situated in the heart of the China National Geopark, as well as the China National Forest Park 🌲. You might even spot a panda resting up in a tree! 😂 Speaking of pandas, Wudangshan is the birthplace of its favorite martial art: Tai Chi Kung Fu 🥢. It's a land of history you'll be able to explore as you rack up the kilometers! 🏃➡️
