Trails in Morbihan

Little sea is translated as Mor-Bihan in Breton. The department of Morbihan is thus named after its gulf, so beautiful! A little teaser of the Trail races in Morbihan? The Ultra Marin Raid Golfe du Morbihan eagerly awaits its runners with a start planned in Vannes. The rest depends on your possibilities... A short trail, a long trail and even an ultra trail over several days are planned by the organizers. The longest distance can also be done in relay, if you manage to motivate some friends. That shouldn't be too hard given the charms of the area... Off to the trails of the Gulf! Now let's head to Saint-Vincent-sur-Oust, located inland, for the Tiken Trail. The locals and volunteers concoct a super fun event 🥳 every year, with multiple little challenges throughout the courses. On the program, vine, zip line and other passages where you're going to have a good laugh 😄! A perfect race to do with family 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧, with several discovery trail distances on the menu. In terms of scenery, you'll be running 🏃🏼‍♀️ in the forest 🌳 and on the cliffs of the île aux Pies. Back to the sea, with the Belle-Île en Trail event, which takes you to the wonderful lands of Belle-Île-en-Mer, one of the largest islands on the French Atlantic coast. Running on the soft sand of an island, yes it's for you. Between Auray and Lorient lies the town of Plouhinec, still on the seaside. It is there that the start of the Trail de la Ria et de l'Océan is given, for a race between land and sea, in the image of Morbihan. You will enjoy the dunes of the Atlantic beaches as much as the green interior spaces... The local wildlife 🦩 (isn't it a heron?) will accompany you!
