The positive elevation is also earned on the Trail of the 6 Burons, a total immersion in the highlands where you'll encounter these old stone shepherd shelters. Further south, the Tour of Nipalou will have you exploring the chestnut groves and trails around Lorcières.

Running here means traversing landscapes shaped by man and nature, under a mountain climate that forges temperaments. Between the prefecture of Aurillac (famous for its street festival and umbrellas) and characterful towns like Saint-Flour or Mauriac, the environment is king 👑.
