A journey through history 📖

Ahhhh, the course is the charming highlight ~~of the house~~ of the marathon! 🤓 Get ready to dive headfirst 🤿 into the history of the city, passing by iconic sites such as the Royal Palace, the Mole Antonelliana, or even the historic residences of the House of Savoy ⛰️. Being the first Italian capital (yes, we often forget), traces of the past remain etched in marble! 🪨 And to start and finish in style, what better than an arch located on the Piazza Castello, right in the heart of Turin? 🤯 For more than 40 years now, the Torino City Marathon has been the key event of road racing in Europe in the month of November, and it's easy to see why! 😍

But that's not all, because the timing wasn't chosen by chance! 😁 Just before the Christmas holidays 🎅, you'll get to experience the "Luci D'Artista", which, after 28 editions, continue to amaze both young and old with its illuminated installations created by famous Italian and international artists 💡. The Turin Marathon transforms the streets into a real open-air museum ✨.

An internationally acclaimed event 🌍

Recently certified by FIDAL ✅, the course is attracting more and more international runners! 🏃‍♀️ Although it primarily draws Italian participants 🤌, it's now more than 80 countries that come together at the starting line 🤗. Everyone is there to challenge their time ⌛, especially in the marathon, one of the fastest in the country! 🏎️ You'll definitely score a PR on the day of the event 💪.

And you don't necessarily have to cover 42.195 km to soak up the atmosphere of the Turin Marathon! 🥳 That's what makes it one of the most sought-after races: its accessibility 👍. The event offers a half marathon and a 5 km non-competitive run, called "City Run". Whether it's your first bib, you're not a sneaker fanatic or you're eager to beat your old time once and for all, you'll find your place on the Piazza Castello 😉.

Last year, out of 10,000 registrants, more than half participated in the shorter events! 👀 It just goes to show, there's a first for everything! 🤭

A runner's heart of rock 'n' roll generosity!

The heart of the event: the 5 km run 🫶. The "Torino City Run" is an entirely charitable race! 💰 This race is dedicated to raising funds for the Piedmont Foundation for Cancer Research ONLUS, adding a charitable dimension to the event 🎗️. Each year, several thousand runners join the Turin Marathon to run hand in hand 🤝 or solo against their times 🏃‍♂️‍➡️. So, which team are you on? 😜
