The event in a few words

KSKSKSKS, you can hear the Provençal cicadas from here! 🦗 Ah, beautiful Provence, what a lovely region 🌸. You, fan of trail running, you love nature, don't you? 🤔 Well then, the Luberun 2026 is the spring race! 🤩

For this first edition, Run Experience is organizing a 100% nature trail in the heart of the Luberon 📍. This mountainous massif in the PACA region boasts a unique landscape that captivates all nature lovers 🌳. Three loops with different distances are offered to give you front-row access to the local flora. The routes all share the same starting point from the heart of La Bastide-des-Jourdans, promising a festive atmosphere throughout the day ☀️. Oh yes, you will most likely have ideal weather for running 🏃‍♂️. In April, the sky is always beautiful there (well, almost - we're told the organizers themselves scouted the 30 km under a good soaking rain in mid-January, but it was "to test the latest raincoat" 😂).

Since solidarity is a strong point of this event, the distances were designed to suit as many runners as possible! 💪 We start with a course perfect for beginning trail running or for an incredible jaunt: 9 km and 300 mD+ 🔥. The so-called "La Roumagou" is a great way to discover the region in a gentle and accessible manner 🙌. "The panoramic loop", aka "Méritants" of 15 km and 500 mD+, offers a good challenge, while enjoying the magical landscapes of the site 💐. The alternation of ascents and descents, provides its share of sensations, at an ideal distance, which allows you to return early and enjoy the festive atmosphere 🎉. For the more adventurous, we double the numbers with the grand tour, featuring a 29 km track and 1,000 mD+ 📈. As its name suggests, it will be "Piégros", offering a total immersion in the surroundings with slightly technical passages 💥. The goal is to showcase the region with respectful and committed trails, and a strong solidarity footprint! ♻️ We count on you to respect the beautiful environment you will be in! ✨

The Provence, is an unmissable region of France 💜. It's the South, the sun... An ideal place to have a great time, especially in the Luberon ⭐️. The gentle warmth of the south awaits you, so "uncover a thread" and put on your trail shoes! 👟 Because, we insist, it's on the trails of the Luberon Regional Natural Park that you’re going to embark 🌍. Upon your return, the local artisans and historical hikes in the village center, are ready to welcome you with tastings of honey, olive oil, calissons, and other local treats and goodies.

Trail runner, we’re waiting for you at this upcoming event! 📅

4 reasons to join this race

A typical place 🌻
You probably know Provence for its sunshine and picturesque villages 😊. But in the Luberon Massif, you will discover a different kind of landscape! This mountain range of 185,000 hectares is located between Cavaillon and Manosque. Today it is a preserved area that is a must-see! 😍
An environmentally responsible event ♻️
With the aim of reducing the environmental impact, these races will be held entirely on PR (Walking Paths) / GR (Great Hiking) trails in consultation with the Luberon PNR & Natura 2000! 🥾 Additionally, the organizers focus greatly on associative and inclusion values
A human adventure above all 🤝
The Luberun is not just about kilometers and elevation gain. It's a collective adventure driven by a team of enthusiasts, local associations, and runners coming together to share much more than a performance ⭐️. Here, we run together, encourage each other, exchange thoughts, and take our time. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced trail runner, you are part of the experience. A human-sized race where friendship, smiles, and the joy of being there are as important as the finish line 🧡
Not just a race 🏃
By participating in this trail, first, you'll discover a new region with beautiful landscapes. Second, you'll experience a convivial and festive event 🥳. And third, you'll be at the heart of a territory full of unique history and gastronomy! 🍝
