The event in a few words

Go run in the heart of Spain 🇪🇸 and put your legs 🦵 to good use! Vale! The Madrid 15k (MetLife) is waiting to offer you an unforgettable experience through the vibrant streets of Madrid! 🏃‍♂️ This race supports people with ADHD and their families! A portion of the funds raised will be invested in research and grants for families without resources 💙. Imagine yourself running the streets of this dynamic capital, surrounded by other running enthusiasts, all while supporting a charitable cause... Pure joy and lots of pride! So, ready to beat your time and create lasting memories? ⚡️

Yes, it’s time for 15 km of challenge in the heart of the 3rd largest city in Europe 🇪🇺. That’s something! 😉 The race takes place in March. It’s the perfect season 🌸 to enjoy this open-air museum. With mild temperatures and Madrid's vibrant atmosphere ☀️, you'll savor every stride during your race! Let’s face it, this city is truly beautiful and blessed with an ever-present culture 😍. Around every corner, there’s a story, a monument and smiles 😁 to further warm your heart during this effort dedicated to a great cause 🫶.

Apart from the race 🏃‍♀️, the event offers, in line with its commitments, a free ADHD screening upon registration. And that’s really considerate ☺️. But what exactly is ADHD? Well, no, it’s not a circuit label 😂, but the name of a neurodevelopmental disorder. It is a deficit of attention with or without hyperactivity causing up to three types of symptoms that can occur alone or combined: difficulties with attention and its control, hyperactivity symptoms, and hyperkinesis causing three types of symptoms that can occur alone or combined: difficulties with attention and its control, hyperactivity symptoms, and hyperkinesis. Certainly complex words 😮, but they make sense to nearly 2.5% of adults and 5% of children affected by ADHD in European countries 🇪🇺, according to the World Federation of ADHD. A screening = answers to floating questions and steps taken for a more pleasant daily life in the future! 😊

But don't worry, there will be plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful Spanish city 💃. After the race, go off the beaten path and discover everything the region has to offer! Why not wander through the stunning gardens of Retiro Park 🌳, a gem in the heart of Madrid ? Or visit the Royal Palace and its sumptuous rooms? 👑 If you are an art lover, the Prado Museum is a must with its remarkable collection of masterpieces! 🖼️ For adventures outside the city, hit the road 🚗 to Toledo, a medieval city 🏰 located about an hour from the capital. Discover its incredible historical heritage and its alleyways 🎨. And to top it all off, savor local specialties with your loved ones at one of the charming regional restaurants 🥘.

So, ready to explore a bustling city while participating in a charitable cause? 🌟
