The event in a few words

Lake Garda is as well-known as white Martini 🍸 in Italy… 🇮🇹 And for good reason ! With its 367 km² and 51 km long, it is the largest in the kingdom of the country of pasta ! 🍝 It’s in Veneto, between Venice and Milan, that this lake stretches, drawing crowds of summer visitors, especially around Peschiera del Garda, at the extreme south of the part our neighbors call Basso Lago . You can see why the urge to swim there is strong 💦, with peaks up to 27°C that delight holidaymakers. It’s in this green and lush landscape, under a blazing sun 🌞 and facing crystal-clear water that you’ll have the chance to perform in October, when it will still be pleasant 😌. The three formats of this final stage of the FollowYourPassion Challenge – a circuit of 4 races – are based in the town of Peschiera del Garda, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site 🌎.

Your wetsuit probably doesn’t have scales 🐠, but you’ll very likely need it when you dive into Lake Garda in early October, for the Peschiera Tri, one of the events that matters on the Italian triathlon calendar 🤌. "Sprint", "Medium" or "Olympic" : each race takes place in the same setting, between lake, mountains ⛰️ and a historic town 😍. Each format offers distances and disciplines suited to all runner profiles. The "Sprint", with 750 m of swimming, 21.3 km cycling and 5 km running is made for rockets 🚀—those who love speed! The "Medium" is already tougher, with 1,900 m of swimming, 85 km of cycling and 20.8 km of running. Finally, you can feel like a Greek athlete as you set off on "The Olympic" 🔥. With this behemoth 🐘, you’ll churn through 1,500 m, ride 43 km and run 9.8 km 🤯.

If you’re still hesitating to embark on this spectacular triathlon, think about what awaits you that autumn weekend 🍂 : a unique sporting experience with an atmosphere that will fill your sails ⛵️, a chilled stay that will have you drifting to the rhythm of the famous dolce vita 😌 and a fascinating immersion in a town with historic heritage that will leave your mouth hanging open 😲. And we’re not even talking about the local gastronomy, which gives pride of place to limone sul Garda (a lemon said to be the locals’ secret to longevity 🍋), Bardolino (the region’s most renowned red wine 🍷), black or white truffles, and of course fish, with the must-try pike in Garda sauce or Garda sardines in saor.

So, ready to make a stop at the Peschiera Tri ? 😏

3 reasons to join this race

Enjoy an exceptional setting 👍
Peschiera del Garda isn’t UNESCO-listed for nothing: its fortifications built in the 16th century by the Venetians are exceptional and made the town one of the crucial points in Italy’s military defense system. Nestled at the extreme south of Lake Garda, Peschiera enjoys a pleasant setting, between beaches and hills. Peschiera is a true open-air museum, but also a small town where it’s lovely to stroll through the shopping streets and laze on the beach 🏖️.
Take on the challenge of a multi-race event 🙌
One race isn’t enough to satisfy your hunger? No worries: scheduled over two days, the Peschiera Tri lets you string together formats, with the Olympic on Saturday and the Sprint on Sunday. A special registration lets you combine both distances. Quite a challenge—and a great way to enjoy the event 200%! 👏
Savor the dolce vita with the family 🥰
For a weekend or a week, Peschiera del Garda is an ideal family home base: cultural visits, boat trips, touring around the immense lake, lounging on the beach or shopping in picturesque streets… A sweet interlude that feels incredibly good at the start of autumn! 🍁
