The largest women's run in Europe? Yes – that's exactly what awaits you at the ASICS Austrian Women's Run® 💗. In 2026, the run will take place for the 38th time, bringing around 30,000 women and girls to the start. Year after year, the women's run demonstrates how diverse, strong, and present women are in running sports 💪. At the end of May, a run will take place in Austria's capital, Vienna, on the Prater Hauptallee – a race where women and girls of all ages start together✨. Whether it’s your first time with a race number, you run regularly, or compete as a sportingly ambitious or elite runner: Be part of this event.
The course is AIMS-measured 🏃♀️, and all competitions will have official timekeeping – including major winner ceremonies for the fastest female runners overall and in the respective age categories 🏆. The ASICS Austrian Women's Run® is a classic road race with different competitions. You can choose between the 5 km run, the 10 km run or 5 km Nordic Walking. Additionally, there is the option to participate virtually 🏃♀️. The Prater Hauptallee is one of the most well-known running routes in Vienna 🤩.
It gained international attention, among other things, through the INEOS 1:59 Challenge, during which Eliud Kipchoge ran a historic sub-two-hour marathon here – a special milestone in running history ⏱️. Around the running day, there is often time to enjoy the city. Vienna offers a lot of green spaces, historical settings, and a lively atmosphere. Landmarks like the Hofburg or Schönbrunn Palace shape the city's image just as much as the Viennese cuisine. A Wiener Schnitzel or a piece of Sachertorte is as much a part of the women's run weekend for many as the start on race day 🤪.
Be part of the ASICS Austrian Women's Run® – a run that is sporty, connects, and has moved thousands of women for decades 😇.
