Ahhh...Deauville, the cradle of American cinema in France! ๐ฌ International stars have trodden this city: Robert De Niro, Clint Eastwood, George Clooney, and...you this June. And yes, this year, itโs your big debut in Deauville, but this time as a triathlete ๐ช. After swimming in the Channel, speeding through the Pays d'Auge, and running on the Promenade, you can experience your own standing ovation amid the cheers of an excited crowd! ๐
If you want to combine sports, nature, and celebration, this destination is definitely THE place to be! ๐ Can you imagine it? Diving straight into the Channel ๐, with its whimsical waves and capricious currents (good luck๐ซฃ). But don't worry, after this refreshing dip, you'll get on your bike ๐ฒ and ride through the Pays d'Auge. Amongst the bucolic valleys and the cheering Normandy cows ("Moo, you can do it!" ๐ฎ), your eyes will be delighted ๐คฉ. To finish off this adventure, dive into an epic run, applauded by an electrifying crowd! This year, the event goes up a notch aiming for 10,000 participants! ๐ Don't panic, whether you're a triathlon gladiator ๐ก๏ธ or a new fish in the Channel ๐, Deauville definitely has a format for you! ๐ If you want to take on the epic, opt for the "Long Distance Lepape": 1.9 km swim, 90 km bike ride, and 21.1 km run. If you prefer a challenge with some fun, choose the "Olympic Distance Loubsol", with 1.5 km swim, 40 km cycling, and 10 km run. If you're still undecided, the "Discovery Race" is ideal: 500 m swim, 23 km bike ride, and 5 km run. A 10 km Run & Music is also planned for a guaranteed dose of fun ๐. After all, we must celebrate the music festival, right? ๐ชฉ
For the little budding champions, the MiniKids and TriKids will have adapted courses, because future stars start young! ๐ฅ If you wish to share the adventure with your friends, nothing is better than the relay! But in Deauville, the triathlon is not just about sweat, it's also a celebration! ๐ Everyone encourages each other, pushes each other higher, whatever your level ๐ซถ. And as the cherry on the cake, this triathlon is responsible and inclusive โค๏ธ. The event is committed to a reduced environmental impact and making this sport accessible to all. In the end, isn't sport synonymous with sharing? ๐
And then, Deauville is not just about competition, it's also an incredible destination ๐ฅ. Once the medal is around your neck, stroll along the Promenade, visit the Villa Strassburger ๐ฐ, or the Maison Eugรจne Boudin. If you're in the mood for a bit of culture, the Caen Memorial awaits you ๐ญ. If you prefer a little getaway ๐จ, enjoy a horse race at the racetrack or a polo match, because you're not the only one running in Deauville ๐. As for gastronomy, you're in the right place! ๐ช Between the camembert, cider, and oysters ๐ฆช, you'll accomplish a real taste triathlon ๐ .
