The event in a few words

Ahhh...Deauville, the birthplace of American cinema in France! 🎬 International stars have graced this town: Robert De Niro, Clint Eastwood, George Clooney, and...you this June. And yes, this year, it’s your grand debut in Deauville, but this time as a triathlete 💪. After swimming in the English Channel, speeding through the Pays d'Auge, and running on the Boardwalk, you too could experience your own standing ovation amidst the cheers of an excited crowd! 👏

If you want to combine sport, nature, and celebration, this destination is definitely THE place to be! 🌟 Can you imagine? Diving right into the English Channel 🌊, with its whimsical waves and tricky currents (good luck🫣). But don't worry, after this refreshing dip, you’ll hop on your bike 🚲 and race through the Pays d'Auge. Amongst bucolic valleys and cheering Norman cows ("Moooooh yes, you can do it!" 🐮), you’ll have a feast for the eyes 🤩. To finish this adventure, embark on an epic running race, with the applause of an electrified crowd! This year, the event is stepping up with a goal of 10,000 participants! 🚀 Don't panic, whether you're a triple effort gladiator 🛡️ or a new fish in the Channel 🐟, Deauville certainly has a format for you! 🏅 If you want to take on the epic, go for the "Longue Distance Lepape": 1.9 km swim, 90 km bike ride, and 21.1 km run. If you prefer a challenge with enjoyment, choose the "Distance Olympique Loubsol", with 1.5 km swim, 40 km cycling, and 10 km run. For those who like a little spice without overwhelming themselves, the "DO750 Asics" is perfect: 750 m swim, 38 km cycling, and 10 km run. If you're still unsure, the "Découverte Race" is ideal: 500 m swim, 23 km bike ride, and 5 km run. Try it, and you might become hooked! 😈 For the little champions in the making, the MiniKids and TriKids will have tailored courses, because future stars start early! 🥇 If you want to share the adventure with friends, nothing beats the relay! But in Deauville, triathlon isn’t just about sweat; it’s also a celebration! 🎉 Everyone encourages each other, lifting each other higher, no matter your level 🫶. And as the cherry on top, this triathlon is responsible and inclusive ❤️. The event commits to a reduced environmental impact and making this sport accessible to everyone. Ultimately, isn't sport all about sharing? 🌍

And then, Deauville isn't just about competition; it's also an amazing destination 💥. Once the medal is around your neck, stroll on the Boardwalk, visit the Villa Strassburger 🏰, or the Eugène Boudin House. If you're in the mood for a bit of culture, the Memorial of Caen awaits you 💭. Or, if you prefer a quick getaway 💨, enjoy a horse race at the track or a polo match, because you’re not the only one racing in Deauville 🐎. As for gastronomy, you've come to the right place! 🚪 Between camembert, cider, and oysters 🦪, you'll complete a real taste triathlon 👅.

So, are you ready to brave the formidable waves of the English Channel? 💦
