The event in a few words

Your next race ๐Ÿ๏ธ will take place on an island. When we say Malta, what do you think of? Party ๐ŸŽ‰? Well, no, wrong! We're here to tell you about the famous Malta Marathon ๐Ÿค“.

Created in 1986, it is one of the oldest in Europe, just that! For its 41st edition, the organizer offers you 3 events: the famous marathon of 42.195 km, the semi-marathon of 21.097 km, and finally a walkathon ๐Ÿšถโ€โ™€๏ธ. The latter follows the semi-marathon course; you'll start at the same time, but you'll have a bit more time to finish the race. You can choose to walk (obviously), but also run. The idea is to offer a less competitive event ๐Ÿ† that remains challenging! ๐Ÿ’ช This city-to-city race starts from the old capital, Mdina, and ends in Sliema ๐Ÿ“.

This race will not only challenge you but also allow you to enjoy the beauty of this Mediterranean island by running along the seaside ๐ŸŒŠ, under a sunny sky ๐ŸŒž with rather mild temperatures for February February โ„๏ธ. Starting in Mdina, you'll embark on a race full of culture and history. Indeed, the city, nicknamed the "Silent City" ๐Ÿคซ, is a historic city located in the country's center. Malta's former capital is known for its quiet ambiance, calm streets, and timeless atmosphere ๐Ÿ˜Œ.

If you still have energy after victoriously crossing the finish line ๐Ÿ, head to the capital to dance all night ๐Ÿชฉ. Known for its lively nightlife, Valletta hosts numerous festivals throughout the year ๐ŸŽ‰. If you fancy quiet walks, head to Rabat, a neighboring city of Mdina, ideal for family strolls ๐Ÿ‘ช. If you don't feel like wandering around and come out completely exhausted from your race, enjoy relaxing on the beaches of Golden Bay: one of the most beautiful beaches in Malta, perfect for resting after the effort ๐Ÿ–๏ธ and just a few minutes away by car ๐Ÿš—.

So, ready to take on the challenge and live an unforgettable experience? ๐Ÿ˜œ Sign up now and savor every stride in this exceptional setting! ๐ŸŽ‰
