Mytho Marathon 2027

Head to Italy 🇮🇹, to discover the Marano Lagoon, a top spot for travelers in the Northeast of the boot 👢, near the border with Slovenia 🇸🇮. We are indeed setting out for a beautiful running race in the province of Gorizia, in the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia 🌞: the Mytho Marathon of Grado 😍. A beautiful event in town that will notably take you along the seaside 🌊 for several kilometers.

No, it's not a myth when we say this event offers 8 different distances! 😂 Marathoners will have company, even dogs 🐕 are invited to the Mytho Marathon, for the Dog Run, a 3.5 km race! More traditional are the other events: a 5.5 km "Eco Run", a 6.5 km "Family Run" 👨‍👩‍👧‍👧, a 7 km "Night Run" 🌛, a 10 km "Nordic Walk" 🥾, a half-marathon, a 30 km "Run" 💪 and the famous queen distance, the 42 km, to be completed alone or in relay! 👊

If you don't know this maritime territory, you will be pleasantly surprised.

The town of Grado is known for being an early Venice! ⏳ But the myth doesn't stop with the race; you can truly enjoy yourself once you've given your all on the course! 😎 Grado is a renowned place and a major spa center, nicknamed "L'Isola del Sole", (the Island of the Sun) ☀️. Such a nickname is always a good sign 😅. The spa culture is very strong in Italy 🌫️. You can relax in the spas 💆‍♂️, and then go on to savor the delicious local gastronomic specialties hidden in the corners of the town 🍝. It will be the moment to explore must-see places that will plant wonderful memories in your mind! 🌱

And if you want to venture out of Grado and discover the province, just ask! This territory boasts many regional jewels 👑, including the Gorizia Castle, dating from the 11th century, the Regional Natural Park of the Corno Valley, or even Venice, which is less than a 2-hour drive away 🚗. At this time of year, there are fewer tourists... and mosquitoes 🦟. Why not also take a boat and explore the natural reserve of the Marano Lagoon, comprised of around thirty islands. In short, running is great, but discovering new (and beautiful) places outside of the race is great too! 🤩
