At the end of November, leave the gray Parisian skies and set course for the turquoise seashores of Martinique 🇲🇶. Forget your traditional indoor running sessions in the overheated capital 🥵, you're about to embark on a true Koh-Lanta remake in a 100% female version 🙆‍♀️. No more red team and yellow team: 💛 here, it's primarily a big pink wave that will sweep over the Caribbean coasts 🌊. The time has come to awaken the great adventurer within you (and also shake up your group of sedentary best friends) 🤪.

Head to Martinique and the legendary Island of Flowers for a grand departure scheduled at the very end of November 🍂. The organizers give you no respite and make you start the multisport events the day after your arrival ✈️. You wanted a worthy challenge, now you have to overcome it 😪. The multisport events include kayaking, mountain biking, trail running, orienteering, road racing, and many surprises to spice up your days 🌶️. We intentionally provide no kilometer indications or specific elevation details, as the overall course is kept strictly secret until the last minute 🤫. The only information we can slip is that you won't settle for one discipline per day; you can be sure to accumulate efforts during a hyper-intense week 😩. As they say locally: "the more it stings, the better it gets", so you should suffer but also enjoy yourself a lot 😎.

Your team will consist of one or two partners: 1+1 or 1+2, if you have basic math skills, that makes teams of 2 or 3 people 🧮. What matters most is the motivation you'll demonstrate 🏋️‍♀️. Besides, don't delay in securing your spot: the field is limited to 45 duo teams duo and 45 trio teams. If you need more reasons to join the Alizés Raid, know that you can donate part of the money invested in your bib to the association of your choice 💵. The exact amount will depend on your ranking across all the events, but it will allow you to fund the charitable or societal cause you feel most closely aligned with. In short, it's like conducting a big fundraiser 🫶, and to thank you, you’re offered a super sporting trip to the other side of the world 🌍. Everyone gives and receives, making this event unique 🎁.

Lastly, let us tell you about the 596 reasons (a nod to our Martinican friends) to visit ☀️. The natural environment, music, culinary specialties, or the tropical climate of the island are all reasons to pack your bags and board the first available flight 🧳. Amidst tropical forests, steep mountains, and famous rocks 💎, Martinique has nothing to envy from paradise 👼. Moreover, much like a demigod, if you wish to enjoy life's little pleasures: you won't find grape clusters but rather bunches of bananas 🍌, pineapples, and mangoes by the dozens 🥭. For hydration (or dehydration 😅), it's not about Martini, as the word's etymology might suggest, but rather good Martinique rum 🍹, which is used to craft delicious Ti-Punch and Rum punch 🍋‍🟩.
