Another unique Spanish event brought to you by Finishers! ➡️ Yes, maybe we're boasting a little... 😅 But we're introducing you to the Seville Marathon! 😎 Yes, if you already know a bit about the city, you know the potential of this race! If, on the contrary, you've never heard of it, you're in the right place to become an expert! 💪 Here, to begin with, is what you need to know: you have a date in Seville, in Andalusia, in the South of Spain 🇪🇸, next February for an extraordinary 42 km at the Zurich Maraton de Sevilla!
Hola amigos! 🙋♂️ Prepare your weekend to come participate in the Seville Marathon, under the coolness of February! 📅 This race is one of the first in the marathon season! ❄️ It still deserves to be in the spotlight because it's a competition that brings together outstanding runners from all over the world! 🌍 Its hype is due to many factors. First of all, the city's scenery is breathtaking! 😏 Its cathedral is, in fact, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site 🫣. How classy! ⛪ But beyond that, for any runner, this marathon is perfect. The Andalusian climate is ideal at this time of year and will allow you to give your best 🌬️. In fact, even in winter, Spanish temperatures remain very mild and conducive to running 🏃♂️. A marathon that caresses your cheeks and, in addition, donates €1 from each registration to a charitable cause! 🤝
To top it off, you can run on an ideal terrain. It is flat and smooth, allowing you to improve your performance! ⏱️ Moreover, despite the size of the city, the course involves only one lap 🔂. Quite impressive, one must admit 😘. By the way, during this little 42 km lap, some small surprises await you 💫. Let us tell you a few: VIP view 👀 on the Ponte de la Barqueta 🎖️, a pass in front of the Macarena Gate, a water station under the bell tower Giralda... In short! What more could you ask for? 🤔
This is an event you shouldn't miss! The setting will charm you 💓, as well as the atmosphere that is great, but you probably guessed that! In Spain, they don't do things halfway! You'll be welcomed like royalty, with everything planned by the organization 👑 so you can fully enjoy what the city has to offer: exceptional monuments, cozy squares, and the Guadalquivir (the river that runs through the city)! 🏙️ Not to mention all the restaurants serving tortillas 🌮, prawns 🦐, or even fabulous gazpachos! 🍅 Mmmmh, personally, it makes our mouths water! 🤤 If you want a slightly more unusual activity, we highly recommend catching one of the many Flamenco shows! 💃 This city will surely become one of your favorites of the year! ❤️
So, what do you say? We're already thinking of going! 😜
The Seville Marathon starts at the Paseo de las Delicias. The course is designed to make one large loop until the finish (which is also Paseo de las Delicias) 🧠. Except for 4 km in the city center, you will never pass the same path again. This is quite rare for a city of this size (small). This race is also a true boulevard. Even though the route goes through many streets that often form right angles 📐, the race is very smooth and flat 📏. It is a marathon fast 🚀, accompanied by an ideal climate ✨.
