The Treg Ennedi Trail is more than just a running race. If you're a runner seeking thrills 🥵 and extraordinary landscapes 🏜️, this experience is for you: the program includes 5 days in the middle of the desert to cover between 54 km and 180 km 😱.
For this 8th edition, we're taking you to the heart of the Fort de Fada, in the incredible landscape of the province of Ennedi-Ouest, in Chad. Rest assured, it's not a mirage! 🏝️ Here, it's the kingdom of the desert 🐪, sand, and heat 🌞, but also of unique locations that will surely surprise you.
This event is especially for runners looking to push their limits: in autonomy, you must cover one of the three distances offered in 5 days, in the month of February ❄️. Whether you choose to cover 54 km, 90 km, or even 180 km, this experience will allow you to surpass yourself physically and mentally! 💪 No matter your distance preference, get ready for a visual feast! 👀
And as a race wouldn't be complete without a good recovery, you can take advantage of your visit to Chad to explore this unique region. Less than an hour's drive from Fort de Fada, you'll find the raw beauty of Lake Ounianga 💧, a series of lakes in the middle of the desert. You can also stroll through the splendid Canyons of Archeï, a true wonder of nature 😍. For those seeking some peace after the effort, a little nap under the iconic Umbrella Acacias of the Zakouma National Park will be the perfect ending.
