The event in a few words

In Seysses, the only turkeys you’ll run into this weekend will have 2 arms, 2 legs, and nothing to do with stuffing 😂.

About twenty minutes southwest of Toulouse, in the heart of Haute-Garonne, the Domaine de Lamothe opens up its paths in September for a morning that blends running steps and good intentions. In the first days back at school, when summer lingers and the Occitan sun bathes the surroundings, you’ll set off at daybreak for a solidarity route through local farms 🚜. At this time of year, temperatures hover around 15–20°C—ideal for getting your gallop on without gasping for air, between morning dew and freshly turned earth. Running, virtual race or hike—everything has been designed so you can find something to enjoy and make the most of it 🥳.

The playground, we’ve already mentioned it: it’s the Domaine de Lamothe, a farm attached to the Purpan Engineering School. You’re going to see cattle in the flesh 🐄. Here, asphalt is traded for winding paths between fields, meadows, and little groves. The profile is fairly fast: little elevation and wide sections where you can let the horses go (so to speak) for the duration of the effort 🌳. On the running side, you can choose between 7 km or 12 km routes. It’s up to you to decide how hard you want to go 😝. In any case, whatever you choose, both will treat you to plenty of green and nature. Forget urban trails, downtown races or skyscrapers as far as the eye can see—here it’s the fresh air on your face that will clear your mind 🌬️. For the least motivated participants, or those who prefer to take their time discovering the area, a 5 km walk is also organized. Perfect for starting your Sunday morning right before a hearty lunch at grandma’s at noon 🕛. The last event is the 5 km virtual race. No excuse not to sign up: wherever you are, you’ll be able to cover your 7 km of happiness!

But at Purpan, the stopwatch isn’t the only goal. Every bib helps fund the Purpan Foundation: 80% of its price is directly redirected to projects supporting agriculture and biodiversity. The idea is to run, sure—but to do it smart 🧠. You can forget about running elites and big records; here the watchwords are celebration, solidarity and togetherness. Seasoned runner or Sunday walker—everyone will find their format 🤝. Halfway between a workout and a discovery stroll on the farm, families will also find something to delight the little ones 👶.

Once the effort is done, it’s time for comfort. Food trucks will be waiting for you at the finish, with specialties just waiting to be enjoyed. For runners in the company challenge, there’s also a little surprise planned: each participant will leave with a homemade product, to choose between gingerbread or farm honey 🍯. A great way to keep a nice memory of the event—and let those who missed it enjoy it on Monday morning around the coffee machine ☕️. If you’re not from the area, you can also head to the “Pink City,” just a couple of strides from here: Toulouse. The capital of Occitanie opens its doors (and above all, its tables) to you to taste the country’s best violet candies and cassoulets 🍬. To digest, you can then head to the banks of the Garonne and let your thighs warm up in the sun. Fancy an Antoine Dupont- or Romain Ntamack-style tan? “This is Toulouse,” and we suggest you take careful note of it, because the locals are proud to remind you 🗣️. At the Foulées du Dindon, every stride is turned into something concrete, and the turkey is clearly no longer the butt of the joke.

So, are you coming to turkey-trot with us? 🥾

4 reasons to join this race

You’re running for a cause that truly matters 💞
Every stride turns into a concrete donation: 100% of the profits go to fund agricultural and environmental projects led by the Purpan Foundation. You lace up your shoes, keep your energy up, and your legs will do the rest 🦵. It’s not every day you get to run for an event this committed 🌱.
Courses for everyone 🔀
No brutal final climb or endless side slope: the profile is fairly flat and fast the whole way. Nothing better for ticking off the kilometers without ending up completely dried out 🥵. With a 5 km walk, a 7 km, a 12 km, and even a virtual version, you choose the effort that suits you. Beginner or seasoned, you’ll head home with a smile 😃.
The company challenge 💼
Not sure who to get on board for this event? Make a collective pitch at your next team meeting 👊. The company format brings 5 or 10 people together around sport, nature, and generosity. Each colleague leaves with a farm product, to share or keep nicely chilled 🍯. Perfect for building bonds outside of work!
A reward on the plate 🤤
You finish, and then the foodie celebration takes over: food trucks on site to recharge, the farm’s homemade products, gingerbread, honeys and delicious treats—the pleasure never stops 🤯. “Eating well” is an integral part of the race here, not just a little extra. You run, you share, you feast!

A few more words

Imagine the 12 labors of Hercules, except that you replace each trial with 1 kilometer and your name isn’t Hercules—sounds a lot simpler, doesn’t it? Well, that’s exactly what the Foulées du Dindon offer you with the 12 km road race held in September 🦃. The big loop also starts at the Domaine de Lamothe. You extend your exploration of farm tracks, between meadows and groves, on a route profile that remains relatively fast.

Perfect for focusing a bit more on endurance than explosiveness 💥.
