Need a new adventure in the great outdoors, soldier? 🫡 The Trail du Soldat Bleu in Vassy-sous-Pisy, in the magnificent region of Burgundy-Franche-Comté, is a trail event you absolutely must not miss! ⚠️ You’ll be able to discover routes to indulge your passion 😎. What’s more, since the race takes place in November, you’ll have nice cool weather (even if it’s a bit rainy 😬), which will help you perform even better! 💪 But what really awaits you during this running mission in the heart of the forest? 🌲
This trail offers you three routes, to suit both beginners and experts in the discipline: the "Petit Soldat Bleu" with its 8 km along the paths 🏞️, perfect for performing on a short distance, trying a new sport 🏋️, or getting back in shape; or the "Grand Soldat Bleu", a 17 km challenge through enchanting forest landscapes ✨, ideal for adventurers looking to push themselves 🗺️. If you prefer a gentler experience, join the walk, untimed, of 8 km 🤓. An excellent way to discover the splendor of the area at your own pace 👟. You’ll be able to share your expedition with your faithful furry companion 🐶, as dogs on leashes are allowed on the walk 🤗. And that’s not all! The youngest participants will also have their own event, with "Le Mini Soldat Bleu" for children from age 7, a hilly loop and untimed of less than 2 km to discover the joy of trail running from an early age 👶.
After your performance 🏅, enjoy the region by exploring local treasures 🪙. Just an hour’s drive away, you can discover Auxerre, a city with a thousand charms with its medieval alleys and its impressive cathedral 🏰. If you’re a fan of good wine 🍷, you can also head to the famous Chablis vineyards 🍇, where you can savor some of the best white wines in the world 🤯. Prefer visiting monuments? Then you absolutely must go to the Château de Saint-Fargeau 🏰, a fascinating dive into history ⚔️ with astonishing shows 🎟️. To finish with another nature break, the Morvan Regional Natural Park ⛰️ will be ideal for a family hike 🥾 or a picnic 🥪. BUt if you don’t want to go that far, food trucks 🌭, bars and local vendors 📍, as well as entertainment will be present in the start/finish area 😉.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to combine sport and discovery in an exceptional setting 🖼️. So, ready to accept your trail mission, soldier? 🤩
