An event bursting with colors! 🎨

If there's one theme that everyone agrees on, it's this one! 😎 More than just a simple race, Color Runs are moments of camaraderie, fun but most importantly charity! 🫶 The concept is simple. A 5 km race, where you start off dressed in white 🤍 (it's better, but we hope you have good laundry detergent...), and at each kilometer, volunteers will douse you in a rainbow... 🌈 Well, not quite! To be exact, they'll throw colored powders made of cornstarch, non-toxic (we don't recommend having it for breakfast, though)! Kilometer by kilometer 💙, you and the others 🧡 will be covered 💚 in a plethora of color! 💛 Naturally, it doesn't stop there, numerous activities await you at the finish line! 💃 Dance Fitness, photo booths 📸, sports coaching or even a brass band or DJ set! 💽 And don't forget the cloud of colors you will be immersed in! ⛅ To make it an unforgettable experience (so no one can recognize themselves) don't forget to join the group color throw! 🎆 You can capture your best photo, making your friends envious! 😉

Imagine how successful this concept is! 🎽 To help you grasp the scale of color, let us tell you a bit of its history 📰. In 2012, the Color Run was conceived in the United States 🗽, with the first edition taking place in January in Phoenix in Arizona! 🗺️ Yes, Americans are great at coming up with good ideas! ☀️ But this one isn't entirely theirs, that would be too easy! 🫵 They actually had a few sources of inspiration before imagining this competition format. The first; the Indian and Hindu Holi celebrations! 🇮🇳 These traditional Hindu festivals where people throw colored powder to celebrate the arrival of spring and unity among people 💐. The joyous and colorful aspect of the Color Run directly comes from this tradition 🫂. The second: Charity and fun runs. In the 2000s, the United States saw a rise in non-competitive races aimed at raising funds or simply promoting health and physical activity in a fun way! 💪 Thanks to this beautiful mix, the Color Run was born! 👏

A concept that captures the hearts of people 🫀

Since its inception in 2012, Color Runs continue to appeal to runners! 🤩 By 2013, more than 100 events were organized in the USA 🇺🇲, gathering over a million people! Just imagine what it's like now! To give you an idea, we can simply tell you that in 2020 the Color Run was held in over 40 countries, and more than 200 cities, not to mention the more than 8 million people who participated! In major French cities like Paris, the Color Run attracts several thousand participants, with peaks of nearly 20,000 runners during major editions! 🎊 Impressive, isn't it?
