Ahhh...Deauville, the birthplace of American cinema in France! 🎬 International stars have walked this town: Robert De Niro, Clint Eastwood, George Clooney, and...you in June. And yes, this year, it’s your big first time in Deauville, but this time as a triathlete 💪. After swimming in the English Channel, riding at speed through the Pays d'Auge, and running along the Promenade, you’ll get to enjoy your very own standing ovation amid the cheers of an excited crowd! 👏
If you want to combine sport, nature, and celebration, this destination is definitely THE place to be! 🌟 Can you imagine it? Diving straight into the English Channel 🌊, with its playful waves and fickle currents (good luck🫣). But don’t worry—after that refreshing dip, you hop on your bike 🚲 and cross the Pays d'Auge. Among bucolic valleys and encouraging Norman cows ("Moo yes, you can do it!" 🐮), your eyes will be in for a treat 🤩. To cap off the adventure, take on an epic run, cheered on by an electrified crowd! This year, the event is stepping up a gear with a goal of 10,000 participants! 🚀 Don’t panic—whether you’re a triple-effort gladiator 🛡️ or a new fish in the Channel 🐟, Deauville definitely has a format for you! 🏅 If you want to take on the epic challenge, go for the "Longue Distance Lepape": a 1.9 km swim, a 90 km bike leg, and a 21.1 km run. If you’d rather have a challenge with plenty of fun, choose the "Olympic Distance Loubsol", with a 1.5 km swim, 40 km of cycling, and a 10 km run. For those who like a bit of spice without overdoing it, the "DO750" is perfect: a 750 m swim, 38 km of cycling, and a 10 km run. If you’re still undecided, the "Discovery Race" is ideal: a 500 m swim, a 23 km bike leg, and a 5 km run. A 10 km Run & Music is also planned for a guaranteed dose of fun 🎉. After all, we have to celebrate World Music Day, right? 🪩
For little budding champions, MiniKids and TriKids will have adapted courses, because future stars start early! 🥇 If you want to share the adventure with your friends, nothing beats the relay! But in Deauville, triathlon isn’t just about sweat—it’s also a celebration! 🎉 Everyone cheers each other on, pushing one another higher, whatever your level 🫶. And the icing on the cake 🍰: this triathlon is responsible and inclusive ❤️. The event is committed to a reduced environmental impact and to making the sport accessible to everyone. In the end, isn’t sport synonymous with sharing? 🌍
And then, Deauville isn’t only about competition—it’s also an incredible destination 💥. Once the medal is around your neck, stroll along the Promenade, visit the Villa Strassburger 🏰, or the Eugène Boudin House. If you’re in the mood for a bit of culture, the Caen Memorial awaits 💭. If you’d rather go for a little getaway 💨, enjoy a horse race at the racecourse or a polo match, because you’re not the only one running in Deauville 🐎. As for gastronomy, you’re in the right place! 🚪 Between Camembert, cider and oysters 🦪, you’re going to complete a real taste triathlon 👅.
So, ready to face the formidable waves of the English Channel? 💦
If you're looking for a triathlon that will thrill you as much as it will test your endurance (just a little 😏), the "Lepape Long Distance" is perfect for you. Neither too long nor too short, the «Loubsol Olympic Distance» is perfect for challenging yourself without wearing yourself out 💥. With 1.5 km of swimming, 40 km of cycling, and 10 km of running, this format combines intensity and enjoyment. The waters of the English Channel? Always a fun challenge 🌊. The bike course? An absolute treat with rolling hills 🌄 and segments where you can give it your all 🔥. And to top it all off, a run on the Deauville Boardwalk 🏖️, surrounded by a cheering crowd 🎊. Whether you're a seasoned triathlete or eager to take it to the next level, this race is the perfect opportunity to shine ✨.
Looking for an explosive format? The "DO750" is perfect for you! 750 m of swimming 🌊, 38 km of cycling 🚴♂️ (a bit of climbing, a touch of speed, and maximum fun 💨), and 10 km of running 🏃♂️. There’s no time to waste here! Once the race is underway, everything happens fast 🔥. The goal? Give it your all and run toward the finish line to savor that medal 🏅. It’s an ideal format for competitive spirits 🏆, a real adrenaline rush ⚡.
Want to try a triathlon without dedicating your life to endurance training? The "Discovery" format is made for you! Dive into 500 m of swimming 🌊, pedal for 23 km 🚴♂️, and finish with a 5 km run 🏃♂️—you’ll feel like a pro as you cross the finish line 🎖️. And the atmosphere? It’s super friendly 🎊! Whether you’re there to test yourself, push your limits, or simply have a great time, this format promises unforgettable experiences 🤩. No stress—just challenges and personal achievement! 💪
This event is for everyone 😊. The start will be given in Deauville on the Boulevard de la Mer, then head towards Trouville-sur-mer before reaching the official finish line of the Deauville Triathlon 😍. Throughout the course, you’ll enjoy musical entertainment and a photo exhibition 🕺. A very flat course, perfect for setting records—your turn! 🚀
