The event in a few words

This is the first time the Durance river will witness so many runners all at once! 🤯 Yes, the Durance Half-Marathon and 10 km is a first 👶, and you'll need to be quick to take the plunge: only 1,000 participants will be able to start the event! 😅 It's in Charleval-en-Provence 🏘️, in the Bouches-du-Rhône that you will run under the gentle November sun 🗓️. You'll dive, not into the Durance, but into a real postcard 🖼️: endless fields, garrigue, olive trees... It's Provence! 🌞 In the distance, you'll even catch a glimpse of mountains: the Chaîne de Côtes, with its highest point, the Mont Trésor, nestled at 398 meters altitude ⛰️.

As its name suggests 🤓, you'll have the option of two events: Half-Marathon or 10 km! You'll see, whether you're a beginner or a podium regular 😎, the courses are suitable for everyone. So accessible that you'll need to watch out for the rockets 🚀 who'll be there to race against the clock! ⏱️ We often say "Brittany wins you over", but we often forget that Provence brings luck! 🍀 You'll have to give it your all on these straight and flat courses to try and receive some good news on your watch once you cross the finish line 🏁.

By the way, what do we do after the Durance Half-Marathon and 10 km? You know as well as we do: after the effort, comes comfort! 💆‍♀️ We won't suggest taking a dip in the Durance, as it might turn into a cryotherapy session 🥶. To ease your aches, go visit Charleval! 🥰 Its 17th-century château is worth a visit. As you lose yourself in the village's streets, you'll quickly notice a small peculiarity ☝️: the streets are all straight, the alignment is perfect! 📐 On the other side of the river, you'll find the mythical town of Puget, renowned for its olive oil 🫒.

The race begins now: 3,2,1... To your bib number! 🎽

Inaugurate the first edition 🎉
It's not every day you get the chance to be part of the first event of its kind! The organization is doing everything possible to ensure you have everything you need and fall in love with its Half-Marathon and 10 km. It's hard to resist such a course and these Provençal landscapes that will take you back to vacation mode... even in November! 😜
Discover Provence differently 🪻
The sea to the south, the Alps to the north, Provence has as many faces as it has fans! Here, you will race along the banks of the Durance, which serves as the border between Vaucluse and Bouches-du-Rhône. So, you may not have the sea spray or the sound of waves, but you'll enjoy the garrigue and olive trees! 🌳
Fast routes 🚀
The banks of the Durance are not known for their elevation! 😂 That will be to your advantage, as with such a track ahead, you'll only be shaving off seconds (or even minutes) from your previous PR ⏱️. We're counting on you to give it your all and reach for the stars of Charleval! ✨
A friendly atmosphere 🥰
Entertainment, good humor, and a village spirit: that's Durance for you! Here, sport rhymes with sharing and authenticity. You come to run, but you leave with a little piece of the south in your heart! 🌞
