The event in a few words

For sports challenge lovers and those who love beautiful discoveries, let us take you to India ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ, for the Bodh Gaya Marathon! ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ Yes, we're taking you to the province of Gayฤ, located in the Bihar region, bordering Nepal ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ต, where the hidden gem Everest is located... โ›ฐ๏ธ Bodhgaya will host you for this unforgettable city race, where you'll explore the Indian cultural heritage. This heritage will likely leave a great impression on you: this city in northeastern India is considered a sacred place in the Buddhist religion ๐Ÿ™. Take a quick tour on Google Image to imagine the visual treat you will experience if you take part in this magical race โœจ. You'll be able to see a lot or a little of this surreal city depending on your fitness and desire for adventure. There are plenty of race options for all types of runners: a 3 km, a 5 km, a 10 km, a half-marathon, and a marathon ๐Ÿ‘.

Besides the huge benefit of choosing from a wide range of distances, you'll also enjoy a human dimension. The race takes place in a highly spiritual city, but it is also deeply grounded in reality. The organizers of the Bodh Gaya Marathon care just as much about the earthly world, evidenced by their creation of a charitable race ๐Ÿค. The money raised from registrations and donations is intended to help develop neighboring villages. The program is extensive, and there are many missions to accomplish. Will you be able to take on this challenge as well? โ˜ฎ๏ธ

In addition to this challenge, you will have the chance to discover a rich heritage and the millennia-old history of the country. Yes, after crossing the finish line ๐Ÿ, you can explore the wonders of Bodhgaya and its region. A must-visit is the Mahabodhi Temple, an incredible monument listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site ๐ŸŒ. To rest your sore legs, you can stroll through the Park of the Great Pagoda of Peace ๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ. What an evocative name! ๐Ÿ˜ If you prefer to recharge in natureโ€™s embrace, the Barabar Caves ๐Ÿ˜, the oldest caves in India, are less than an hour's drive away ๐Ÿš˜. If you're accompanied by your partner, why not conclude a day of discoveries with a romantic dinner at one of Bodhgaya's many traditional restaurants? ๐Ÿ›

Of course, other extraordinary opportunities await you once in the country. Will you have time to go to the city of Agra to admire the Taj Mahal? ๐Ÿ˜ 1,000 km separate you from this wonder, but after all, you don't visit India every day! New Delhi, closely tied to the history of Mahatma Gandhi, Mumbai, or Kolkata are obviously other must-sees... ๐ŸคŒ

So, are you ready to lace up your road shoes and embark on an unforgettable experience? The Bodh Gaya Marathon is waiting for you! ๐Ÿซต
