The event in a few words

Tick-tock tick-tock ⏳, isn't it time to introduce you to the next edition of the ING Night Marathon Luxembourg? 🤠

Put on your running shoes, grab your passport, and head to Luxembourg... in the city of Luxembourg, isn't that convenient! 😇 This race doesn't just include the main distance of running, oh no! It also offers 6 other distances! We'll explain a bit about the menu 🍽️ and there's something for everyone, meat lovers, vegetarians, vegans, and even flexitarians! 🤤 For those who are hungry for kilometers, there will of course be the 42 km marathon 👑, but for those watching their figure, the half-marathon also awaits! 🎓 For those who like sharing plates, the Team Run is just for them. A relay for 4 on the marathon, because it's still easier to distribute the effort, it helps with digestion! 🍵 The "5k Run For Success" is there for runners who like to nibble! 🍫 But that's not all! The children's menu should never be overlooked! A "Minimarathon" of 4.2 km for those aged over 12 👧 and a "Mini Minimarathon" of 1 km for those under 12, await the future prodigies of running! 👶 And to REALLY include everyone, the "Roll&Run" offers fans of wheel sports 🛴 and parasports 👨‍🦽 a 7.3 km race through the Limpertsberg district. Moreover, this race is charitable and non-timed 🤗. Now that you know what's on the menu, we can sit at the table! Because yes, the Luxembourg Marathon is a renowned event in the world of gastronomy running! 😻 And we're talking about a dinner, not a lunch! Indeed, starts begin at 6 pm, so forget the sunglasses, it's a night marathon! 🌙 After all, the thousands of lights illuminating the city will certainly dazzle you! 👀

To make the event even more festive, friendly, and entertaining 🎆, many activities will be available for both young and old! So don't worry about the companions, you're part of the celebration too! The Pétrusse Valley will be illuminated with multicolored lanterns and music groups 🎸 (500 musicians!) as well as DJs 📀 will be present along the route, while a tent as big as it is spectacular will be set up at the Glacis. The courses are also attractive, for example, the marathon route snakes through the middle of the Pétrusse, which carves out a verdant gorge in the heart of the city 🌳, where exceptional monuments nestle against the rocks of this magnificent city! The 17,000 or so participants, with smiles on their faces, are never disappointed by this "tailor-made" organization! 🏃‍♂️

If you're not too familiar with Luxembourg, it's never too late to discover it! 🗺️ This small European country is full of surprises and for your stay, we have a few key places to whisper in your ear! The Bock Casemates are tunnels carved into the rock, offering a panoramic view of the Alzette Valley 🏞️. The Parc Merveilleux of Bettembourg will provide an ideal family outing, with animals 🦆, games, and spaces to relax (yes, relaxing is good). But you can also take a little piece of history by diving into Luxembourgish history by visiting the official residence of the Grand Duke, The Grand Ducal Palace! 🏰 Of course, for our nature lovers, we suggest you head to the Moselle Valley to discover picturesque vineyards and taste exquisite local wines 🍷 (Always consume in moderation).

So, captain, are you setting sail for the Green Heart of Europe ? ⛲
