Get ready for the Nikotama Ecomarathon, a sporting experience in January in the heart of the Setagaya prefecture in Japan 🇯🇵. More precisely in the city of Nikotama (also called Futako-Tamagawa), by the Tama River, in the Tamagawa Futako Bridge Park, where you will start your race at precisely 11:00 AM ! 🕚 You're heading out for two races to choose from: a half-marathon or a 10 km, all in a loop format. If you've come with family 👨👩👧👦, a parent-child race of 5 km is organized. The course also takes the form of a loop 🔂. You can enjoy a track surrounded by lakes, ponds, and beautiful nature 🍃. You'll be immersed in a peaceful and inspiring environment, perfect for breaking your personal record or simply enjoying every stride 💪. Moreover, you'll be running in a small group of 300 people, ideal for making new friends 🤗.
With several other sporting events organized, particularly in the prefectures of Saitama, Osaka, Hiroshima, Kyoto and Kumamoto (but mainly in Tokyo 🌸), the Ecomarathon positions itself as an environmentally conscious 🌳 and committed organization 🎗️. This year, it is possible to donate to the international refugee support association : Second Harvest Japan. The first food bank in Japan, the organization is committed to ensuring everyone has access to food 🍲. The associations Refugee Empowerment International and Peace Run also benefit from the proceeds of this event. A great way to do something good for others, the planet, and yourself! 🫶
